Vacation Leave Accruals. ‌ A. After six (6) continuous months of employment, full-time employees shall receive vacation leave for each month of completed employment. Vacation leave shall not be used until the employee has completed six (6) months of continuous service.

Vacation Leave Accruals. At the start of the term of this Agreement, District agrees to provide the Employee with vacation leave accruals at the same rate as other full-time management employees that have completed five (5) years of employment (13.33 hours per month to a maximum liability of 240 hours.
Vacation Leave Accruals. During any one fiscal year, an employee, after his/her first twelve (12) months of employment, must use at least fifty percent (50%) of his/her yearly-earned vacation benefit according to the above schedule. An employee may carry over, at the end of the fiscal year, a maximum of fifty percent (50%) of his/her yearly vacation benefits, up to a maximum of three hundred sixty (360) hours. Vacation leave in excess of the authorized carryover shall be forfeited and no financial compensation may be paid at the end of the fiscal year (June 30), unless an extension has been granted in writing by the Department Head with the approval of the City Council, after consideration of the recommendations by the Personnel Committee. Policies affecting employees of the Burlington Electric Department require no approval other than the approval of the Board of Electric Commissioners, under Section 228 of the City Charter. Vacation time may be used by employees in addition to, or in lieu of, sick leave.
Vacation Leave Accruals a. Vacation leave is accrued each month of employment; provided, however, the employee is not in a leave without pay status for more than a full calendar month. b. Vacation leave may be used only after it has been accrued. c. Regular and probationary full-time employees earn vacation leave as follows: i. The Director of Human Resources shall review all requests by Employing Officials and submit a recommendation to the County Administrator. d. Regular and probationary part-time employees shall receive pro-rated vacation leave, based upon an employee's full-time equivalent (FTE) status, as established and approved by the Employing Official. e. No more than 360 hours vacation leave may be carried from one calendar year to the next.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Sick Leave Accrual All eligible employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per pay period of continuous employment beginning with their date of eligibility. Eligible employees being paid for less than a full eighty (80) hour pay period shall have sick leave accruals pro-rated in accord with the schedule set forth in Appendix D.

  • Vacation Accrual ‌ A. During the first three (3) years of employment, a full-time employee in a regular or limited-term position shall earn .0385 hours of vacation for each hour of pay during his or her regularly scheduled workweek (approximately eighty [80] hours per year). Part-time employees will earn vacation on a pro- rated basis. Such credit shall be applied to the employee's vacation accrual account only upon completion of each pay period. B. After an employee in a regular or limited-term position has been paid for six thousand two hundred forty (6240) regularly scheduled hours, the employee shall earn .0577 hours of vacation for each hour of pay during his or her regularly scheduled workweek (approximately one hundred twenty [120] hours per year), but not to exceed credit for more than eighty (80) regularly scheduled hours in any pay period. Such credit shall be applied to the employee's vacation accrual account only upon completion of each pay period. C. Commencing with the pay period following that in which the employee completed ten (10) years of continuous full-time County service (20,800 regularly scheduled hours), an employee in a regular or limited-term position shall earn .077 hours of vacation for each hour of pay during his or her regularly scheduled workweek (approximately one hundred sixty [160] hours per year), under the same terms and conditions as under subsection B., above. D. The maximum allowable vacation credit an employee may accrue at any one (1) time for employees with less than ten (10) years of continuous County service shall be two hundred forty (240) hours. The maximum allowable vacation credit an employee may accrue at any one (1) time for employees with ten (10) or more years of continuous County service (20,800 regularly scheduled hours) shall be three hundred twenty (320) hours. An employee who has accrued the maximum allowable vacation credit will not accrue additional credit until the employee’s vacation credit drops below the maximum allowed.

  • Leave Accrual After the first 30 days of active military service in any one calendar year, employees shall not accrue City-paid vacation, holiday, or sick leave benefits or other forms of paid leave; provided, however, that any public employee on military leave for intermittent training periods shall continue to accrue the same vacation, sick, and holiday leave up to a maximum period of 180 cumulative days per calendar year as if the employee had not been on military leave.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual Rate Schedule Full Years of Service Hours Per Year

  • Vacation Leave 11.1 Employees will retain and carry forward any eligible and unused vacation leave that was accrued prior to the effective date of this Agreement.

  • Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits An employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each calendar month during which the employee receives pay for at least ten (10) days at the following rate:

  • VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 14.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st of one calendar year to March 31st of the following calendar year inclusive.

  • Vacation Leave Credits ‌ Full-time and part-time employees will be credited with vacation leave accrued monthly, according to the rate schedule and vacation leave accrual below.

  • Vacation Leave on Retirement ‌ An employee scheduled to retire and to receive pension benefits under the Public Service Pension Plan Rules or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be granted full vacation entitlement for the final calendar year of service.
