Vacation Pay Out. Accumulated but unused vacation time up to a maximum of twenty- two (22) days will be paid upon termination of employment, retirement, or death. Payments shall be deposited according to the employee's most recent payroll direct deposit instructions.
Vacation Pay Out. The parties agree that on the Separation Date the accrued but unused vacation shall be 20 days.
Vacation Pay Out. Should a member be denied the use of vacation leave after making more than one good-faith attempt to schedule all available vacation leave prior to the end of the payroll year, the hours unused above the applicable maximum accrual rate will automatically be converted into paid compensation at the rate of the pay in effect in the pay period immediately preceding the end of the payroll year, and will be included in the first paycheck immediately following the end of the payroll year.

Vacation Pay Out. A classified bargaining unit member hired prior to July 1, 2023, has an option to annually cash out any amount of vacation in excess of thirty-five (35) days or continue to roll over vacation. The bargaining unit member may request a cash payout by submission of the required form by June 30th of the fiscal year. Any new members hired on or after July 1, 2023, will be allowed to accumulate up to thirty-five (35) days of vacation and any excess over the thirty-five (35) days will be paid out after verification of available leave balance. Members that are less than four (4) hours a day, may request annually, to have all of the bargaining unit member’s accrued vacation paid out by submission of the required form by June 30th of the fiscal year.
