Volunteer Training. Any Unit 10 Fish and Game employee who has approval to serve as a volunteer deputized Fish and Game Warden must complete the appropriate training required by Penal Code Section 832. If a volunteer, deputized warden has approval to carry a firearm, the employee must complete firearms training required by Penal Code Section 832.

Volunteer Training. The City will reimburse an employee his/her tuition for voluntary training courses completed and of benefit to the employee’s job if a passing grade of “B” or better is attained. The City will reimburse an employee for fifty percent (50%) of his/her tuition for voluntary training courses completed and of benefit to the employee’s job if a passing grade of “C” is attained. The City Manager may make additional rules and regulations to implement this provision. Such rules and regulations shall not conflict with nor reduce the benefits provided in this provision.
Volunteer Training. Volunteers are encouraged, but not required, to get training if they frequently accompany children or youth on activities such as camps, retreats, mission trips, or any other activity with an element of risk.
Volunteer Training. ▪ All adult and teen volunteers 18 or over must be Virtus compliant ▪ All volunteers must attend a training session that informs them of the Safety protocols and camp rules ▪ All volunteers will sign a contract stating that they will follow the safety protocols. ▪ If a volunteer fails to follow the safety protocols or allows campers in their supervision to ignore the safety protocols, he/she will be asked to leave camp. ▪ All stations and Crew Leaders will have access to hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol. ▪ Spray bottles of cleaning disinfectant will be readily available in each station and shared space for use throughout the day. Common surfaces in shared spaces will be cleaned multiple times per day. ▪ Campers and volunteers will be asked to sanitize their hands at the beginning and end of each activity. ▪ Disinfectant wipes and cleaning disinfectant be readily available for use throughout the camp. ▪ The Craft and Imagination Stations will be cleaned after each cohort. ▪ The Games Station will wipe down all the equipment used after each cohort. ▪ Campers will not be sharing common craft supplies. Each camper will receive their own materials for the week (i.e. markers, crayons. Glue sticks, pencil…). Campers are expected to be responsible for these materials during the week. We have rented a trailer containing two restrooms for the week (see photos on the right). These restrooms provide flush toilets, sinks with running water, electric lights and heating and air-conditioning (if needed). Campers and volunteers should realize that restroom use will be limited (2 restrooms for 300 people). Campers and volunteers should make sure they use the restroom before coming to Camp. ▪ No ‘bathroom breaks’ are built into the Camp schedule. ▪ Campers must ask permission to use the restroom. Campers will be escorted to the restroom trailer by their Crew Aid or another volunteer. This is done in order to avoid cross contamination between cohorts. ▪ Only one person will be allowed to use the restroom at any given time. The restroom will be wiped down with disinfectant wipes after each use. ▪ Volunteers will be assigned to monitor the restrooms and make sure the proper social distance is maintained by those waiting to use the restroom. ▪ The restrooms will be wiped down with disinfectant wipes after each use.
Volunteer Training. Describe the orientation and training provided to the student (prior to placement and at other times as needed) to ensure effective, safe, and informed student service that is sensitive to vulnerable populations the student may work with (as applicable).
Volunteer Training. FTA will host sufficient First Aid/CPR training, Chainsaw and Crosscut training for FTA volunteers to meet the requirements of the Forest Service Health and Safety Handbook. Hands on, per project, training for volunteers will be encouraged for additional technical skills such as using hand tools and performing basic trail maintenance activities. The FTA will also host activity leader training to familiarize volunteers with the health and safety requirements, Job Hazard Analysis, Safety Tailgate Sessions, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for various trail maintenance activities and how to safely and effectively manage volunteer activities in the back country. Additional trainings to improve trail maintenance and inventory activities, such as GPS Training, may be identified and offered under this agreement as mutually agreed upon by the FTA and Forest Service.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. As issues are identified by the CONTRACTOR and/or HSD, the CONTRACTOR shall provide timely and targeted training to staff. 3.3.5.2 The CONTRACTOR shall provide an initial orientation and training as well as ongoing training, including training targeted to different types of staff, to ensure compliance with this Agreement. Including targeted training regarding: 3.3.5.2.1 Care Coordination; 3.3.5.2.2 Nursing Facility Level of Care Determinations; 3.3.5.2.3 Setting of Care Submissions; 3.3.5.2.4 Community Benefit Services and Supplemental Questionnaire; and

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.
