Written Guidance and Training. Within 90 days of the date that the Agreement is signed, the District will issue written guidance and facilitate training for school site staff on its policies and procedures for providing a free, appropriate public education under Section 504 and the Title II. The training will be provided to all staff members working with students with special needs, with a focus on the implementation of BIPs.

Written Guidance and Training. A. NSAA will create a protocol for ensuring that all staff working with students with disabilities, including teachers, administrators, aides, and providers, receive a copy of each student’s current IEP or Section 504 plan and have access to the Special Education Director or student’s case carrier to discuss the content of the IEP document and receive guidance with respect to implementation. The protocol will also ensure that all approved accommodations documented in a student’s previous IEP are carried forward into the student’s new IEP, as appropriate. NSAA will draft a memorandum and disseminate it to all administrators, teachers and special education staff explaining the protocol and the requirement under Section 504, Title II and their implementing regulations to implement all portions of a student’s consented-to plan for special education services, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Section 504 plans.
Written Guidance and Training. A. The District will provide written guidance and training to all School staff who are involved in the Section 504 process and/or in drafting health plans for students regarding the District’s obligations under Section 504, Title II, and their implementing regulation, including access to on-campus parking for students as an accommodation for disability. The training must cover the District’s obligations to provide equal access, as well as its obligation to provide to students with disabilities a free, appropriate public education (FAPE), including its obligation to identify students with suspected disabilities, and when the School should initiate the 504 process upon learning that a student has a temporary impairment that results in a substantial limitation of one or more major life activities for an extended period of time. The training also must cover how to effectively document, implement, and monitor the accommodations, services, supports, and aids provided to students with disabilities in their 504 plans.
Written Guidance and Training. A. The College will issue a written guidance memorandum and facilitate training for all administrators, faculty, and staff who have responsibility for ensuring that students with disabilities receive academic adjustments.   • Customer Support and Training System Agency will provide support for the CMBHS, including problem tracking and problem resolution. System Agency will provide telephone numbers for Grantees to obtain access to expert assistance for CMBHS-related problem resolution. System Agency will provide initial CMBHS training. Grantee shall provide subsequent ongoing end-user training.

  • Penalties and Training Business Associate understands that: (a) there may be civil or criminal penalties for misuse or misappropriation of PHI and (b) violations of this Agreement may result in notification by Covered Entity to law enforcement officials and regulatory, accreditation, and licensure organizations. If requested by Covered Entity, Business Associate shall participate in training regarding the use, confidentiality, and security of PHI.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • Professional Development and Training 4.1 The purpose of professional development and training requirements for interpreters is to maintain the skill levels interpreters possess at the time they pass their interpreter certification examination, and to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Both the State and the Union encourage interpreters to complete training and continuing education activities.

  • Employment and Training Administration The ratio of trainees to journeymen on the job site shall not be greater than permitted under the plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration. Every trainee must be paid at not less than the rate specified in the approved program for the trainee's level of progress, expressed as a percentage of the journeyman hourly rate specified in the applicable wage determination. Trainees shall be paid fringe benefits in accordance with the provisions of the trainee program. If the trainee program does not mention fringe benefits, trainees shall be paid the full amount of fringe benefits listed on the wage determination unless the Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division determines that there is an apprenticeship program associated with the corresponding journeyman wage rate on the wage determination which provides for less than full fringe benefits for apprentices. Any employee listed on the payroll at a trainee rate who is not registered and participating in a training plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the classification of work actually performed. In addition, any trainee performing work on the job site in excess of the ratio permitted under the registered program shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the work actually performed. In the event the Employment and Training Administration withdraws approval of a training program, the contractor will no longer be permitted to utilize trainees at less than the applicable predetermined rate for the work performed until an acceptable program is approved.

  • Compliance Training ADMINISTRATOR shall make General Compliance Training and Provider Compliance Training, where appropriate, available to Covered Individuals.

  • EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING 1. The State agrees to provide advice and counseling to employees with respect to career advancement opportunities and agency developments which have an impact on their careers.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.
