Written Guidance and Training. 1. Within 60 days after this Agreement is signed, the District will submit to OCR for review and approval a draft of the guidance memorandum on the District’s harassment policies and procedures and the role of the District in responding to harassment complaints, as described in Section II.A. The District will finalize the guidance memorandum within 30 days of receiving OCR’s comments.
2. Within 30 days of finalizing the guidance memorandum, the District will submit to OCR for review and approval draft training materials and the qualifications of the individuals providing the training required under Section II.A. Within 30 days of OCR’s approval, the District will notify OCR of the date of the training, which will be held within 60 days of such approval.
3. Within 30 days after the training date, the District will provide OCR with documentation that it has provided training described under Section II.A. The documentation will include the dates of the training, the names and titles of the trainer(s), a copy of any materials used or distributed during the training, and a list of the District employees who attended the training.

Written Guidance and Training. Within 90 days of the date this Agreement is signed, the District will issue written guidance and facilitate training for school site staff on its policies and procedures for providing a free, appropriate public education under Section 504 and the Title II. The training will be provided to all staff members working with students with special needs, including lunchroom monitors.
Written Guidance and Training. 1. By April 1, 2017, the District will submit a draft of the guidance memorandum, training materials, and title/name of the proposed trainers as described in Section III for OCR review and approval.
2. The District will finalize and issue the guidance memorandum and provide the training required in Section III by June 1, 2017.
3. By July 1, 2017, the District will provide OCR with documentation that it has provided the training required under Section III. The documentation will include the dates of the training, the names and titles of the trainer(s), a copy of any materials used or distributed during the training, sign-in sheets evidencing the District employees who attended the training, a list of the required District employees who did not attend, and a plan for providing follow-up for those employees who did not attend, as needed, by September 15, 2017.

Written Guidance and Training. 1. The Recipient will issue a written guidance memorandum to all administrative and financial aid staff at each of its locations nationwide. The written guidance will state that students with disabilities should not be terminated from the program for excessive absences or for exceeding maximum time frames where the disability was the cause of the absences. The written guidance will emphasize that extended time to complete the Recipient’s program is a reasonable accommodation that should be considered when appropriate. The guidance will also explain how a student’s disability should be considered in deciding an appeal related to a student’s financial aid status. Finally, the guidance will emphasize that while the “maximum time frame” is a concept that applies to financial aid decisions, students are permitted to continue on a cash-pay basis regardless of whether financial aid is terminated.
2. The Recipient will provide in-person training to all administrative and financial aid staff at the Recipient’s Xxxxxxx Oaks location regarding the guidance memorandum and all the matters identified in Section B.1.
Written Guidance and Training. A. By March 17, 2017, the District will issue written guidance and facilitate training for School site staff and District administrators that addresses the District’s policies and procedures for addressing complaints of discriminatory harassment under Section 504 and the Title II. The training will specifically address the District’s obligations to respond to complaints of disability- based harassment and what steps School site staff should take when made aware of potential student to student harassment.
B. By March 17, 2017, the District will issue written guidance and facilitate training for School site staff and District administrators that addresses the District’s obligation to ensure that harassment or bullying on any basis does not impact a student’s ability to access a free appropriate public education (FAPE) under Section 504 and Title II. The training will specifically address how harassment or bullying can impact a student’s FAPE, and the appropriate steps to take to ensure a FAPE when a student with a disability is subjected to harassment on any basis.
Written Guidance and Training. A. By September 1, 2022, the District, in consultation with its Title IX Coordinator, will issue a written guidance memorandum and facilitate training for all District administrators, school site administrators, and interscholastic coaching staff at all District schools who have responsibility for reporting and/or responding to reports of sexual harassment. The written memorandum will describe the steps that the school site administrators and interscholastic coaching staff will take when a report or complaint of sexual harassment is made to them by students.
B. The training will discuss the roles and responsibilities of District administrators, school site administrators, and interscholastic coaching staff at the District schools when a report or complaint of sexual harassment is made. The training will further address the scope of the responsibilities for District administrators, school site administrators, and interscholastic coaching staff when a report or complaint alleges any off-campus sexual harassment incident occurring during a District related program or activity, such as sexually harassing comments and/or images made through electronic and social media communications, or a pending criminal complaint about an alleged sexual harassment incident between students. (60) days of OCR’s approval. Within fifteen (15) days of providing the training required in Section III.A-B of the Agreement, the District will provide OCR with the following documentation: the dates of the training, the names and titles of the trainer(s), a copy of any materials used or distributed during the training, sign-in sheets evidencing the District employees who attended the training, a list of the required District employees who did not attend, and a plan for providing follow-up for those employees who did not attend, as needed.
Written Guidance and Training. A. NSAA will create a protocol for ensuring that all staff working with students with disabilities, including teachers, administrators, aides, and providers, receive a copy of each student’s current IEP or Section 504 plan and have access to the Special Education Director or student’s case carrier to discuss the content of the IEP document and receive guidance with respect to implementation. The protocol will also ensure that all approved accommodations documented in a student’s previous IEP are carried forward into the student’s new IEP, as appropriate. NSAA will draft a memorandum and disseminate it to all administrators, teachers and special education staff explaining the protocol and the requirement under Section 504, Title II and their implementing regulations to implement all portions of a student’s consented-to plan for special education services, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Section 504 plans.
Written Guidance and Training. A. The College will issue a written guidance memorandum and facilitate training for all administrators, faculty, and staff who have responsibility for ensuring that students with disabilities receive academic adjustments. That guidance and training, will include, at a minimum:
1. An overview of College’s policies and procedures for requesting academic adjustments.
2. The obligations of faculty and staff to implement approved academic adjustments.
3. Responding to requests for additional time on coursework and examinations due to hospitalization related to a student’s disability.
Written Guidance and Training. A. The College will issue written guidance to all staff in the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) about the required procedures for responding to requests for accommodations. That procedure will include a requirement that staff engage in an interactive process to determine what accommodations are necessary, and that OSD makes a written determination about what accommodations are authorized by the College. If the College chooses to apply different procedures for students with temporary disabilities, the written guidance will specify those procedures. The College may choose to revise Administrative Procedure 5140 instead of or in addition to providing separate written guidance regarding the issues described in this section.
B. The College will conduct training for all OSD staff regarding the materials covered in the written guidance.
