Xxxx Leave Reimbursement. 1. Employees using thirty-two hours (32) of sick leave, or less, during the fiscal year, shall have the option of converting twenty-five percent (25%) of their remaining yearly sick leave to vacation. 2. Vacation shall be computed based on the following schedule and all computations shall be rounded to the nearest whole hour: REMAINING YEARLY SICK LEAVE VACATION OPTION 3. If the vacation option is selected, the paid sick leave hours shall be subtracted from the employee's accumulated yearly sick leave balance. The remaining sick leave hours shall be carried over and accumulated. (Example: Employee uses 32 hours of sick leave. He or she then elects to receive vacation for 25% of the remaining hours as conversion to vacation, or 16 hours. The 16 hours are subtracted from his or her remaining yearly sick leave and the other 48 hours are added to the employee's accumulated sick leave balance.) 4. Conversion will be made during the month of July of each year. 5. Conversion will be made only to employees on the payroll twelve (12) consecutive months prior to the payoff calculation. Permanent employees who retire during the fiscal year will be compensated under this plan based upon their formal retirement date. Prorated payments will not be made to an employee who terminates during the fiscal year. However, in the event of the death of an individual while employed by the City, 100% of the employee's unused, accumulated sick leave will be paid to the appropriate beneficiary as prescribed by law.

Xxxx Leave Reimbursement. (1) Employees shall have the option of converting 50% of their accumulated unused sick leave for the fiscal year to pay. In calculating the number of hours that could be converted to pay, all computations shall be rounded to the nearest whole hour and the fiscal year will beconsidered to start and end with the first pay period commencing in July of each year. (2) If the pay option is selected, the paid sick leave hours shall be subtracted from the employee's accumulated yearly sick leave balance. The remaining sick leave hours shall be carried over and accumulated. (3) Payment for sick leave the previous fiscal year will be made during the month of July of each year. Pay will be computed based on the employee's base salary rate on June 15. (4) An employee will not be eligible for sick leave reimbursement under this plan if it would result in the employee having an accumulated sick leave balance of less than the amount that the employee would earn during a two-year period. This restriction shall not apply to subsections (5) and (6) below. (5) Permanent employees who retire during the fiscal year may be compensated in a prorated manner under this plan based on their formal retirement date. Prorated payment may also be made under this plan to an employee who terminates during the fiscal year. (6) In the event of the death of a represented employee while employed by the City, 100% of the employee's total unused accumulated sick leave, after consideration for any reductions allowed under PERS Sick Leave Conversion/Service Credit Policy, will be paid to the appropriate beneficiary.
Xxxx Leave Reimbursement. (1) Employees who are unit employees on and before June 30, 1979, shall be entitled to sick leave reimbursement of 20.83% for up to 120 days (maximum 200 hours) of unused sick leave upon honorable separation. Unit employees covered by this paragraph (1) are not eligible for benefits under paragraph (2). (2) Employees who are not unit employees on June 30, 1979, and who become unit employees thereafter, shall be entitled to sick leave reimbursement as follows (to the exclusion, and in lieu of, any benefits under paragraph (1): a. The 16 hours are subtracted from his or her remaining yearly sick leave and the other 48 hours are added to the employee's accumulated sick leave balance.) d. Payment will be made during the month of July of each year. Pay will be computed based on the employee's salary step on June 15, and will only be calculated for employees who have been on the payroll for one full year at the time calculations are made. e. Xxxx Leave Reimbursement. The Collingswood Board Of Education will, upon retirement from the district, as certified by the Division of Pensions, pay the retiring employee retirement pay for the accumulated sick leave days accrued while in the employment of the Collingswood School District. 1. Payment shall be made in accordance with the following conditions for those employees who retire after July 1, 1992. Maximum payment for each accumulated unused sick day shall be $27.80 per day for 2004-2005, $28.65 per day for 2005-2006 and $29.50 per day for 2006-2007. 2. Maximum possible number of sick days shall be 120 days 3. Employees must be retiring with a minimum of twelve (12) years experience in the Collingswood School District.

Xxxx Leave Reimbursement. Upon the retirement or death of any employee, the Lodi Board of Education shall pay said employee for all unused sick days at the then per diem rate of said employee's salary at the time of retirement or death. Any employee who retires on or prior to July 1, 2009 shall receive the said 215 day reimbursement. Any employee who retires between July 2, 2009 and July 1, 2012 shall receive a maximum of 185 days. Any employee who retires on or after July 1, 2012 shall receive a maximum of 95 days reimbursement. Per Diem is defined as 1/20 of the gross monthly salary at the then prevailing rate at the time of retirement or death. In the event of the death of an employee, said monies shall be made payable to his/her estate. Said monies may be paid by the Board Secretary in the month of July following the employees’ retirement or death. Employees who are employed by the Lodi School District for a period of less than 1,850 days shall not be entitled to the above retirement or death benefit.
Xxxx Leave Reimbursement. Upon voluntary retirement from the District, an employee shall receive reimbursement for unused sick days. Voluntary retirement being defined as having 10 years service with the district. Reimbursement shall be at the rate of 2 (two) hours pay for each earned sick day.
