Clarity Note. For the purposes of clarity, this bargaining unit excludes the Marketing Person for the Occupational Health Program and includes Nurses in the Shift Nursing program. The Employer recognizes the Ontario Nurses’ Association as the bargaining agent of all Registered and Graduate Nurses employed in a nursing capacity by the Victorian Order of Nurses – Ontario Branch, Thunder Bay and District Site, in the Districts of Thunder Bay, Kenora and Rainy River, save and except Managers and persons above the rank of Manager.

Clarity Note. For the purpose of the above bargaining-Association description, a supervisor will be excluded from the bargaining unit if she/he exercises managerial functions, as per subsection 1(4) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995.
Clarity Note an identical paying classification shall include any classification where the straight time hourly wage rate at the level of service corresponding to that of the laid off employee is within one per cent (1%) of the laid off employee’s straight time hourly wage rate.
