EQUALITY OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY. 4.1 Nondiscrimination. The Medical Center and the Association agree to abide by all applicable local, state and federal laws that prohibit discrimination or harassment on the basis of age, sex, race, creed, color, disability, sexual orientation, or national origin in the hiring, placement, salary determination, or other terms or conditions of employment for nurses employed or to become employed in job classifications covered by this Agreement.

All items contained within this Article are not subject to the provisions of Article 18 of this Agreement.
