NO STRIKES, NO LOCK OUTS. 4.01 The Company agrees that there shall be no lock out, and the Union agrees that there shall be no strikes, work stoppage, slow down, restriction of output or interruption of work either complete or partial by the Union or by the employees for any reason whatsoever during the life of this agreement. All disputes between them shall be submitted for settlement in accordance with the grievance and arbitration procedure set forth in this agreement.
NO STRIKES, NO LOCK OUTS. 5.01 The Union agrees there shall be no strikes and the Employer agrees there shall be no lock-outs during the term of this Agreement. The term “strike” and “lock- out” shall bear the meaning given them in the Ontario Labour Relations Act as and when amended.

NO STRIKES, NO LOCK OUTS. 10.01 In view of the orderly procedure established by this agreement for the settling of disputes and the handling of grievances, the Association agrees that during the term of this Agreement, there will be no strike, picketing, slowdown, or stoppage of work, either complete or partial, and the Company agrees that there will be no lock-out. The words “strike” and “lock-out” shall have their meaning from the Labour Relations Act.

The Union recognizes that during the life of this Agreement, neither it nor its officers, representatives, committee persons, and stewards will for any reason, directly or indirectly, call, sanction, or engage in any strike, walkout, slow-down, sit-down, stay-away, limitation of production, boycott of a primary or secondary nature, picketing or any other form of interference with the peaceful operation of the business of the University. In the event that Employees represented by the Professional and Administrative Union engage in any of the above activities, the President of the Union or a representative thereof will, upon request from the Human Resources Division, immediately notify them of the inappropriate nature of their activity and direct them to return to their jobs. The University agrees that during the term of this Agreement, it will not lock out any of the Employees covered by this Agreement.

NO STRIKES, NO LOCK OUTS. 1. During the life of this Agreement, or any written extension thereof, the Union, on behalf of its officers, officials, agents and members, or any employee, whether on or off duty, will not directly or indirectly, engage in, authorize or threaten any mass absenteeism, work stoppages, strike, sit-down, sit-in, boycott, walkout, sick out, slow-down, sympathy strike, unfair labor practice strike, picketing, patrolling, handbilling, including but not limited to informational picketing at nonwork sites, refusal to cross a picket line at any Siemens Medical Solutions facility or Siemens Medical Solutions client, affiliate, subsidiary or any other related entity, or in any other way interfere with or interrupt the Company's operations for any reason. Nothing herein shall be construed to prevent an employee while off duty picketing a Company other than Siemens so long as it is not a Siemens client. In addition, nothing herein shall be construed to require an employee to cross picket lines at Siemens’ customer sites if to do so would jeopardize the employee’s health or safety. The Company agrees that it shall not lock out employees during the life of this Agreement.
NO STRIKES, NO LOCK OUTS. The Association and employees covered by this agreement agree that they will not engage in, initiate, authorize, sanction, ratify, support, or participate, while on Board time, in any strike, slowdown, stay-in, or other curtailment or restriction of the educational process of the Board's operations, including the honoring of any picket line or strike activity by other employees or by non-employees of the Board during the term of this Agreement. The Board of Education will not lock out employees during the term of this Agreement.
