Part-Time Commitment. (The following clause is applicable to part-time employees only) The Hospital shall not refuse to accept an offer from an employee to make a written commitment to be available for work on a regular predetermined basis solely for the purpose of utilizing casual employees so as to restrict the numbers of regular part-time employees.

Part-Time Commitment. When a full-time vacancy or opportunity is not available the Parties then recognize the benefits of part-time employment and agree that the utilization of casual employees shall not undermine the integrity of the part-time employment for members of the Bargaining Unit.
