The Xxxx of Students, their designee, or a law enforcement officer may conduct a room search 1) to investigate suspected illegal activity, violation of University policies, and/or violation of health or safety regulations; 2) in case of emergency; or 3) to recover University property. The University reserves the right, for reason of individual or community safety or welfare, to authorize the immediate suspension of a Student or removal from University housing pending results of a hearing.

Room entry. MHS reserves the right for authorized School representatives to enter all rooms for housekeeping purposes, inspection, search, repair or maintenance, health, safety, or disciplinary reasons (including apartments, common areas, sleeping rooms, etc and all MHS property within).

Those guests must provide photo identification and register emergency contact information with Residence Life. A resident can be held accountable for both the behaviors and any financial damage or loss of their guest. All guests/visitors (from on or off campus) present in a residence hall after 9:00 p.m. must be signed in.
