Aims of Cooperation. With a view to strengthening their bilateral relationship, the Parties undertake to hold a comprehensive dialogue and promote further cooperation between them on all sectors of mutual interest. Their efforts will in particular be aimed at:
(a) establishing cooperation bilaterally and in all relevant regional and international fora and organisations;
(b) developing trade and investment between the Parties to their mutual advantage;
(c) establishing cooperation in all trade and investment-related areas of mutual interest, in order to facilitate sustainable trade and investment flows and to prevent and remove obstacles to trade and investment, in a consistent and complementary manner with respect to ongoing and future regional EU-ASEAN initiatives;
(d) working through development cooperation towards eradicating poverty, promoting sustainable development, combating emerging challenges such as climate change and communicable diseases, deepening economic reform and integrating into the world economy;
(e) establishing cooperation in the area of justice and security, including the rule of law and legal cooperation, data protection, migration, combating organised crime, money laundering and illicit drugs;
(f) fostering cooperation in all other sectors of mutual interest, including human rights; economic policy; financial services; taxation; industrial policy and small and medium-sized enterprises; information and communication technologies; science and technology; energy; transport; urban and regional planning and development; tourism; education and training; culture; climate change; environment and natural resources; agriculture, forestry, livestock, fisheries and rural development; health; statistics; labour, employment and social affairs; reform of public administration; associations and non-governmental organisations (NGOs); natural disaster prevention and mitigation; gender equality;
(g) enhancing existing and encourage new participation of both Parties within sub-regional and regional cooperation programmes open to the participation of the other Party;
(h) establishing cooperation on countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery; combating illicit trade in small arms and light weapons in all its aspects; remnants of war;

(c) establishing cooperation on combating the most serious crimes of international concern;
(d) establishing cooperation on countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, their means of delivery and the illegal stockpiling of and illicit trade in small arms and light weapons in all its aspects;
(e) securing the conditions for and promoting the increase and development of trade between the Parties to their mutual advantage;
(f) establishing cooperation in all trade and investment-related areas of mutual interest, in order to facilitate trade and investment flows and to prevent and remove obstacles to trade and investment, in a manner which is consistent with and complementary to ongoing and future regional EU-ASEAN initiatives;
(g) establishing cooperation in the area of justice, freedom and security, including the rule of law and legal cooperation, data protection, migration, smuggling and trafficking in human beings, combating transnational organised crime, money laundering and illicit drugs;
(h) establishing cooperation in all other sectors of mutual interest, notably customs, macro- economic policy and financial institutions, in the tax area, industrial policy and small and medium enterprises, information society, science and technology, energy, transport, education and culture, environment and natural resources, health and statistics;
(i) enhancing existing and encouraging new participation of the Republic of Singapore within the Union's Asia-wide cooperation programmes;
(j) raising the roles and profiles of the Parties in each other's regions;
(k) establishing a regular dialogue with the aim of enhancing the mutual understanding of each other's societies and of fostering awareness of different cultural, religious and societal views in both Asia and Europe.
Aims of Cooperation. The development cooperation strategies of the Parties shall aim at, inter alia:
(a) achieving sustained economic growth;
(b) promoting human and social development;
(c) promoting institutional reforms and development;
(d) promoting environmental sustainability, regeneration and best practices, and the preservation of natural resources;
(e) preventing and tackling the consequences of climate change;
(f) supporting policies and instruments aimed at the progressive integration into the world economy and trade.

(a) nurturing cooperation, on a bilateral and multilateral basis, in all relevant regional and international fora and organisations involved in matters covered by this Agreement;
(b) establishing cooperation on countering the proliferation of WMD;
(c) establishing a dialogue on serious crimes of international concern;
(d) establishing cooperation on preventing and combating terrorism and transnational crimes;
(e) securing the conditions for and promoting the increase and development of trade and investment between the Parties to their mutual advantage while ensuring respect of the WTO principles and rules and in a manner that is supportive of the objective of sustainable development and that promotes sustainable supply chains and responsible business practices;
(f) establishing cooperation in all trade and investment-related areas of mutual interest, in order to promote the implementation of the WTO principles and rules, to facilitate sustainable trade and investment flows and to prevent and remove obstacles to trade and investment, in a manner which is consistent with, complementary to, as well as contributing to ongoing and future regional EU-ASEAN initiatives and to sustainable development;
(g) establishing cooperation in the area of freedom, security and justice, including the rule of law and judicial and legal cooperation, protection of personal data, migration, the fight against money laundering, organised crime and illicit drugs;
(h) establishing cooperation in all other sectors of mutual interest, notably macro-economic policy and financial institutions, development planning, good governance in the tax area, combating corruption, corporate social responsibility, industrial policy and micro, small and medium sized enterprise (MSME), information society, science, technology and innovation, low-carbon, circular and green economy, bioeconomy, climate change, energy, transport, research and development (R&D), education and training, culture, tourism, human rights, gender equality, environment and natural resources, agriculture and rural development, health, statistics, knowledge-based society...
Aims of Cooperation. With a view to enhancing cooperation between them, the Parties undertake to promote further development of economic relations between them. Their efforts will in particular be aimed at:
(a) stepping up, establishing cooperation in and diversifying trade to their mutual advantage;
(b) establishing economic cooperation in fields of mutual interest, including scientific and technological cooperation and industrial cooperation;
(c) facilitating cooperation between businesses by facilitating investment on both sides and by promoting better mutual understanding.
Aims of Cooperation. The aim of this Agreement is to establish a strengthened partnership between the Parties and to deepen and enhance cooperation on issues of mutual interest, reflecting shared values and common principles.

3.3 The University agrees to perform the Research Programme, including the designation of research fellowships, visiting fellows, research networks, training programmes and policy briefings for senior management as described in the Research Programme.
