APPRENTICE CONTRACT. About the role The role of a Leisure Team member is to support, enhance and deliver day to day operations and services of a leisure/fitness facility. Working as part of a team it is responsibility of the leisure team member to undertake a range of operational duties such as assisting with opening and closing, undertaking routine maintenance of equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and safety of the environment. You will be learning the role whilst gaining a range of qualifications as a Leisure Team Member Apprentice. 35 hours per week – 6 hours,of the 35, will be allocated for Study 9:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday Salary Your hourly rate in your 1st year of your Apprenticeship will be £5.28 per hour, uplifted to between £8.21 and £10.42 in your 2nd year (dependant on age). Qualifications that will be gained in this apprenticeship • Swim England Level 2 in teaching or an STA Level 2 certificate in Swim Teaching • NPLQ/IQL Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding • Level 3 certificate in First Aid • Level 2 Certificate in Fitness or Gym Instruction An Enhanced DBS check with Barred List will be required for this post. About the person You will be a responsible person, frequently looking after the safety and wellbeing of our customers and of other staff. You will need to be a team player but equally comfortable working on your own initiative. You will be able to deliver maintenance tasks and maintain cleanliness onsite and always enjoy delivering exceptional customer experience. Do I need qualifications for this role? The role will require you to have passed your English and Maths Level 2 to complete the apprenticeship (GCSE’s). You can apply without and to partake in a test to gain Level 2 in those subjects before taking your end-point assessment.   • Apprentice Wages (a) Apprentices’ rates of pay are set out in Appendix B which includes the description of the calculations.

  • Contractor If COUNTY elects to renegotiate this Agreement due to reduced or terminated 20 funding, CONTRACTOR shall not be obligated to accept the renegotiated terms.

  • Apprenticeship Supervision All apprentices shall be supervised by an appropriately qualified tradesperson. The parties shall implement the ESV’s “Supervision guidelines for apprentices working on electrical installations”. These guidelines were developed by the Industry parties under the auspices of the Office of the Chief Electrical Inspector.

  • Adult Apprentices People who are 21 years of age or over at the time of entering into an apprenticeship with the Employer will be paid as per the wage rates set out in the appropriate Appendix to this Agreement. Where special or unusual circumstances occur or apply and where the parties to this Agreement and the adult apprentice agree in writing, the adult apprentice may be paid at a lesser rate, provided that the lesser rate will not be less than the rate for a junior apprentice set out in the appropriate Appendix to this Agreement.

  • Apprenticeship 7.01 At such time, the parties agree to a training program, it is agreed to contact the California Nevada JATC to establish such program.

  • Apprenticeship Program 62. The parties agree to meet to discuss the development of mutually agreeable apprenticeship programs. The specific provisions of the apprenticeship programs shall be subject to agreement between the City, the Civil Service Commission (where appropriate), and the Union. Each apprenticeship program, however, shall contain at least the following terms:
