Assistance Services Sample Clauses

Assistance Services. You understand and agree that you have a legal obligation under the Americans with Disabilities Act and similar state laws to transport Users with Service Animals (as defined by applicable state and federal law), including guide dogs for the blind and visually impaired Users, and there is no exception to this obligation for allergies or religious objections. Your knowing failure to transport a User with a Service Animal shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement. You agree that a “knowing failure” to comply with this legal obligation shall constitute either: (1) a denial of a ride where you state the denial was due to a Service Animal; or (2) there is more than one (1) instance in which a User or the companion of a User alleges that you cancelled or refused a ride on the basis of a Service Animal.
Assistance ServicesNotwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, Company may in its reasonable discretion based on applicable tax and regulatory considerations, collect and remit taxes resulting from your provision of Transportation/Companionship/Assistance Services and/or provide any of the relevant tax information you have provided pursuant to the foregoing requirements in this Section 4.8 directly to the applicable governmental tax authorities on your behalf or otherwise.

By using our services, you consent to us using such information for these purposes, b. disclosure of information about you and your insurance cover to companies within the AXA group of companies, to our service providers and agents in order to administer and service your insurance cover, to provide you with travel assistance, for fraud prevention, to collect payments, and otherwise as required or permitted by applicable law; c. monitoring and/or recording of your telephone calls in relation to cover for the purposes of record-keeping, training and quality control; d. technical studies to analyze claims and premiums, adapt pricing, support subscription process and consolidate financial reporting (incl. regulatory); detailed analyses on claims/missions/calls to better monitor providers and operations; analyses of customer satisfaction and construction of customer segments to better adapt products to market needs; e. obtaining and storing any relevant and appropriate supporting evidence for your claim, for the purpose of providing services under this policy and validating your claim; and f. sending you feedback requests or surveys relating to our services, and other customer care communications.
Assistance Services. Assistance Services are arranged by Travel Guard and provided through coordination, negotiation, and consultation using an extensive network of worldwide partners. Travel Medical Assistance: A menu of services available for emergency medical requests, including prescription replacement assistance, physician referrals, medical evacuations, and more. Worldwide Travel Assistance: Assistance with any travel emergency or request for general travel information, including lost, stolen or delayed baggage; replacing lost passport or travel documents; emergency cash transfers; pre-trip travel advice; inoculation information and more. LiveTravel® Emergency Assistance: 24-hour hotline to make emergency travel changes, such as rebooking flights, hotel reservations, tracking lost luggage and more. Concierge Services: Virtually whatever you need, whenever, wherever you need it, you can call on your own personal assistant to help. Services include tee time reservations, restaurant referrals and reservations, wireless device assistance, sporting or theater tickets, and more. Identity Theft: If your identity is stolen during your Trip, our emergency travel counselors will assist in contacting your credit card companies, monitoring your credit report and working with local authorities to help you restore your identity. (Not available for NY residents.)
Assistance Services. This supplementary coverage provides coverage for: The costs of a return flight (for the insured) are covered in the case of being recalled to his or her home country in the event that a relative – by blood or by affinity in the first degree (i.e. spouse, mother, father and children) – should be in peril of death, or, have died. The costs of a return flight and accommodation expenses (maximum of EUR 125.00 per person per day), for two of the insured’s family members (travelling from origin country to country of residence) will be covered in the event that the insured is in danger of death or has died as a consequence of illness or an accident. The total amount covered for this is EURO 7 000.00 per event. Coverage includes extra costs of flying the insured to his/her country of origin because special air transport is required for urgent medical reasons. If an escort is required for medical reasons, the costs of a return ticket for the escort will be reimbursed. If something happens that is covered by the repatriation coverage then the necessary telecommunication expenses that result from this event will be reimbursed up to a maximum of EUR 150.00.
Assistance ServicesThe Insured Person may also avail of Wellness & other benefits provided through selected service providers listed on the Company’s website. List of these available service providers shall be appended as an annexure to the policy schedule. Subject otherwise to the terms, exclusions, provisions and conditions contained in the Policy and in consideration of the payment by the Insured to the Company of additional premium as stated in the Schedule, it is hereby agreed and declared that notwithstanding anything stated in the ‘Terrorism Risk Exclusion” of this Policy to the contrary, this Policy is extended to cover physical loss or physical damage occurring during the period of this Policy caused by an act of terrorism, subject to the exclusions, limits and excess described hereinafter. For the purpose of this cover, an act of terrorism means an act or series of acts, including but not limited to the use of force or violence and/or the threat thereof, of any person or group(s) of persons, whether acting alone or on behalf of or in connection with any organization(s) or government(s), or unlawful associations, recognized under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Act, 2008 or any other related and applicable national or state legislation formulated to combat unlawful and terrorist activities in the nation for the time being in force, committed for political, religious, ideological or similar purposes including the intention to influence any government and/or to put the public or any section of the public in fear for such purposes. This cover also includes loss, damage, cost or expense directly caused by, resulting from or in connection with any action taken in suppressing, controlling, preventing or minimizing the consequences of an act of terrorism by the duly empowered government or Military Authority. Provided that If the Insured is eligible for indemnity under any government compensation plan or other similar scheme in respect of the damage described above, this Policy shall be excess of any recovery due from such plan or scheme. For the purpose of the aforesaid inclusion clause, "Military Authority" shall mean armed forces, para military forces, police or any other authority constituted by the government for maintaining law and order.
Assistance Services. If the termination of this Agreement by the Manager was for a payment default by the FRBNY, the Manager may (without prejudice to its other rights and remedies) require that the FRBNY pay the undisputed portions of any outstanding Fees and prepay for any such Termination Assistance Services.
Assistance Services. Within three months after the Effective Date, St. Xxxxxxxxx shall amend its policies and procedures to promulgate the policies and procedures set forth in this Section and shall provide detailed procedures for staff to follow in securing each of the interpreter resources listed in subparagraph 4.3
