Association Dues Payroll Deductions. In recognition of the Association as the exclusive representative, the Employer shall deduct an amount sufficient to provide the payment of the regular bi-weekly Association membership dues uniformly established by the Association from the wages of all employees who have authorized, in writing, such deduction on a form designated and furnished by the Association. The Association shall certify to the Employer, in writing, the current amount of regular bi-weekly membership dues which it has uniformly established for all members. Such deductions shall be cancelled by the Employer upon a written request made by the involved employee to the Association with a copy to the appropriate departmental payroll office.
Association Dues Payroll Deductions. A. Members may at any time sign and deliver to the Board an assignment authorizing deduction of membership dues and assessments of the Association (including the NEA and MEA). Such authorization shall continue in effect unless, subsequent to August 1 and prior to August 31 of any year, such authorization is formally revoked by the member in writing and copies thereof are delivered to the Association and to the Board.
B. The deduction of membership dues shall be made from the first regular pay check and each succeeding pay check beginning in September and ending in May of each year. The Board agrees promptly to remit to the respective Associations all monies so deducted, accompanied by a list of members from whom the deductions have been made.
C. Potential members who for any reason prefer not to become members of the Association shall authorize a deduction equal to the combined national, state, and local dues in amounts of one-ninth (1/9) for the nine (9) months, beginning in September and ending in May of each year. Such monies will be set aside in a scholarship fund, and granted after proper screening to deserving Xxxxxxxx High School graduating senior(s).
D. The Board agrees that it shall be a condition of employment that all potential members become and remain members of the Association or pay a representation fee stated above. The potential member has thirty (30) work days in which to execute an authorization for payroll deduction of the Association dues or representation fee.
E. If the authorization is not signed by the potential member at the close of the thirty (30) work day period, the Board agrees that the services of said potential member shall be terminated at the end of the school year, provided that the Association submits a written request for said termination to the Board. The potential member shall be notified of the termination of services immediately after the receipt of the Association's request.
F. If, at the end of the school year, the potential member or members receiving the termination notice shall then be engaged in pursuing any legal remedies to contest the discharge, either before the Michigan Tenure Commission or a Court of competent jurisdiction, such potential member's services shall not be terminated until such time as a final decision has been rendered as to the validity of said discharge, or such potential member ceases to pursue legal remedies

Association Dues Payroll Deductions. 0701 Professional employees may at any time sign and deliver to the Board an authorization form requesting deduction of membership dues and assessments of the Association and its affiliates. Such authorization shall continue in effect until such time that said professional employee gives written notice to the Board Treasurer to discontinue such deductions or employment with the Board terminates. Association dues will be deducted in equal amounts beginning with the second paycheck after the notification is given to the Board Treasurer and ending with the last paycheck in June.

The Board shall deduct from each participating Teacher’s pay the current union dues in the amount of which shall annually be certified by the Association by August 1 of each school year. Such dues shall be deducted in equal payments beginning with the first September paycheck and ending with the last May paycheck. Association Dues Payroll Deductions. Payroll deduction for membership dues shall be granted by the City to the Association.
(A) Payroll deductions shall be for a specified uniform amount between the employee and the Association and shall not include fines, fees, and/or assessments. Dues deductions shall be made only upon receiving certification from the Association of each employee’s individual authorization.
(B) Authorization, cancellation, or modifications of payroll deduction shall be made upon certification provided or approved by the Association.
(C) Amounts deducted and withheld by the City shall be transmitted to the officer designated in writing by the Association as the person authorized to receive such funds, at the address specified.
(D) The employee’s earnings must be sufficient, after all other required deductions are made, to cover the amount of the deductions herein authorized. When an employee is in a non- pay status for an entire pay period, no withholdings will be made to cover that pay period from future earnings nor will the employee deposit the amount with the City which would have been withheld if the employee had been in pay status during that period.
(E) In the case of an employee who is in a non-paid status during a part of the pay period, and the salary is not sufficient to cover the full withholding, no deduction shall be made. In this connection, all other required deductions have priority over the Association dues deduction.
(F) The Association shall indemnify, defend, and hold the City harmless against any claim made against the City and/or any lawsuit initiated against the City on account of Association payroll dues deductions made by the City consistent with Section 4, and any other payments to the Association consistent with this MOU.

The following payroll deduction will be provided at no cost to the member: Teachers may, by October 1, sign and deliver to the Board an authorization form requesting membership dues and assessments of the recognized Association and its affiliates. Teachers wishing to discontinue membership shall remit notification to the Association Treasurer and Board Treasurer between August 1 and August 31. Professional dues will be deducted in fifteen (15) equal amounts beginning with the first pay in October. All money so deducted shall be remitted to the Treasurer of the Association accompanied by a list of employees for whom deductions were made and the amount for each said employee The Association shall indemnify the Board, its agents and its administrative and supervisory employees, including the Board’s Treasurer (all hereinafter referred to as “the indemnities”), and hold them harmless from any and all liability, damages and expenses as a result of any legal action or administrative claim brought against them as a result of this Article.
Association Dues Payroll Deductions. A. The Association shall have the right of automatic payroll deduction of membership dues for employees. Each employee who chooses to become a member of the Association shall provide the District with a payroll authorization to deduct said dues and assessments of the Association. The Association, which is the legally recognized exclusive bargaining representative of the employees as described in the “Recognition” clause of this Collective Bargaining Agreement, shall have the right to have deducted from the salary of members of the Association an amount equal to the fees and dues required for membership in the Glenwood Education Association, the Washington Education Association (WEA) and the National Education Association (NEA). The dues deduction form and authorization shall remain in effect from year to year, unless withdrawn in writing to WEA by the employee. B. The District shall transmit the dues, as well as NEA-FCPE and WEA-PAC donations authorized by the employee, to the entity designated by the Washington Education Association each pay period.
Association Dues Payroll Deductions. The City shall deduct Association dues and or benefit premiums in an amount determined between the Association and it members. The Association shall provide the City with a least sixty (60) days written notice of any changes in amounts. Employees shall complete and sign the designated Dues Deduction Authorization form.
