Away from Home Allowance. (a) If an Employee is required to travel in the performance of their duties, and such travel requires them to stay overnight away from their usual place of residence, Xxxxx the Hirer will seek to provide them with all meals whilst they are away.

Away from Home Allowance. (i) Employees who travel from the Employer’s Kawana location to Bundaberg, or any other location, and who remain over night in Bundaberg or such other location, will be provided with their accommodation at the expense of the employer and paid an away from home allowance of $70.00 per night, or some other agreed allowance. All other expenses will be those of the Employee and paid by the Employee.

In addition, the employee shall be granted travel time to the new location based on the most direct route. No employee will be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee’s regular workday and such time shall not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing compensatory time or overtime.
