Bargaining Time. A. Not more than five (5) members of the Association's negotiating team shall be allowed to attend collective bargaining negotiations for a successor to this Agreement on on-duty status. If a negotiation session is scheduled on the regular workday of a member, the member shall be entitled to his/her regular compensation for that day, but shall not be entitled to any overtime payments, regardless of the duration of the negotiation session. All travel associated with the bargaining process shall be on off-duty time. If a negotiation session is scheduled on the regular day off of a member, the member shall be entitled to a makeup day off, to be scheduled at the mutual convenience of the member and the Employer.
B. All expenses incurred by the members of the Association's bargaining team shall be the responsibility of the Association, not the Employer.
C. Before bargaining sessions are scheduled, both parties shall agree on the location of the negotiations, the date and time, and the Articles that will be negotiated at the meeting. Penalty payments as the result of a meeting date being changed or postponed shall not be allowed.

Bargaining Time. During such travel and negotiations, the bargaining team member shall not receive per diem costs or the use of a Department vehicle. If a negotiations session is scheduled on the regular workday of a member, the member shall be entitled to his/her regular compensation for that day, but shall not be entitled to any overtime payments regardless of the duration of the negotiations session or travel. If a negotiations session or travel is scheduled on the regular day off of a member, the member shall be entitled to straight time compensatory leave not to exceed eight (8) hours. No penalty payments accrue for any changes of schedules due to collective bargaining.
Bargaining Time. 17 Employees serving as members of the Federation bargaining committee shall be paid their 18 normal base rate for all hours spent in contract negotiations carried on during their regular workday.
Bargaining Time. 18 Employees serving as members of the Union bargaining committee shall be paid their 19 normal base rate for all hours spent in contract negotiations carried on during their regular 21 extent possible and in no case shall such meetings be unnecessarily protracted. Employees 22 released from duty for negotiations shall be allowed reasonable travel time between their 23 work site and meeting locations. 24
Bargaining Time. A reasonable number of Employee members of the entity representing the bargaining unit shall be allowed time to absent themselves from duties for a reasonable period without loss of pay, for the purpose of participating in contract negotiations. They shall be extended the same privile ge to participate in any meetings mutually called by the parties during the term of this agreement for review of grievances and contract compliance questions.
Bargaining Time. 22 The County agrees to release three employees serving as members of the Council bargaining 23 committee shall be paid 50% by the Council and 50% by the County their normal base rate for 24 all hours spent in contract negotiations carried on during their regular workday. Effort shall be 25 made to conduct negotiations during nonworking hours to the extent possible, and in no case 26 shall such meetings be unnecessarily protracted. Employees released from duty for 27 negotiations shall be allowed reasonable travel time between their work site and meeting 28 locations. 29
Bargaining Time. An employee shall be afforded reasonable time (30 minutes prior to grievances; 60 minutes prior to arbitration) during regular working hours, without loss of pay, to participate in collective bargaining/active negotiations and grievance hearings, if needed through the arbitration level. Sufficient advance notice shall be provided to the Public Safety Director. The Public Safety Director shall approve the time off if it does not disrupt the duties of the employee or the efficient operation of the department. Collective bargaining by the Union shall be done by a recognized Union bargaining committee consisting of no more than four members, not including authorized agents, representatives and/or attorneys. Any additional members will not be compensated by the City. The City shall be provided with a list of the Union bargaining committee members prior to all negotiations. Members of the Union bargaining committee shall be allowed the opportunity to meet on or off the premises of the employer. The employer shall provide straight time compensation for 30 minutes prior to grievances; 60 minutes prior to arbitration during regular working hours to participate in collective bargaining/active negotiations and grievance hearings if needed through the arbitration level. The Union shall be provided a suitable bulletin board for the posting of Union notices; such board shall be identified with the name of the Union, and the Union shall be responsible therefore.
