Bidding of Routes. 1. Prior to July 1st, all anticipated route packages for the bid date will be available in the Transportation Director's office for review. Bidding shall take place no sooner than seven (7) days after posting but prior to July 15th . Route packages will be established by the Transportation Director. 2. The Transportation Director is responsible for the development, maintenance, and modification of all transportation routes in compliance with current laws, regulations, Sections of this Article and parameters of this entire Agreement. All route packages may be modified during the school year as the needs of the District change. Such changes will not result in a reduction in an operator’s approved route time as outlined below except as listed in this item. In instances where an operator’s time is found to materially decrease thirty (30) minutes or more after September 30th, management reserves the right to assign additional duties, within the operator’s or assistant’s job description, for the approved time the operator is paid. If there is no other work available for that operator they will be given the option of reducing their approved time and pay or requesting a bumping meeting, within the classification, in compliance with Article XXI, (such a “bump” would be exempt from the thirty (30) day notification procedure of the RIF provision). Bidding of Routes. Drivers will have an opportunity to bid on a seniority basis those routes and information current as of the start of the school year. Drivers will be advised of bidding opportunities for those routes that begin prior to the start of the regular school calendar. In the event the driver is not able to attend the bidding session, the driver may submit his/her preference or have a designated representative in his/her place. The designated representative must be a member of the bargaining unit. Bidding will be monitored by the most senior driver and management. Pending the completion of routes, a pre-review may be set up prior to the bidding date. The bid package shall include a description of the route including a prepared set of "lefts and rights." Activities/exceptional students added after the start of the school year will be used to fill routes as determined by the supervisor. Management has a right to assign or delete students or assignments at any time as determined necessary. Whenever possible, routes will be balanced as to be in keeping with the guaranteed seven (7) hour workday. Bidding for summer school routes shall be handled as above with the current unit members given preference over outside hires. In order to be considered for summer work, current unit members must sign up for this work on or before April 15. Unit members who indicate such desire may be required to work during the summer.
Bidding of Routes. At the beginning of the school year, drivers will be given basic routes (A.M. & P.M.) as designed during the summer (excluding those runs or routes that do not constitute permanent part(s) of the basic routes, i.e., tutorial stops pertaining to migrant influx, drama/art, etc.). Midday routes will be assigned by seniority and as close to driver's previous year's school assignment as possible. Drivers will be compensated at their contracted time as of the end of the previous school year as a minimum for the month of September, and any additional drive time over that contracted time. If there are fewer middays than the previous year, drivers who will not be assigned middays will be given the option to: 1) continue to be paid for the midday hours as of the previous October bidding, provided that they perform duties associated to the transportation department for those hours as assigned; or 2) deduct the hours and generate a new Personnel Action Form until bidding. Vacancies will be filled as described below: A. Routes will be bid prior to the month of October with the changing of routes to occur on October 1. Bid routes will be available for viewing two (2) working days prior to bid date. B. Position vacancies, including a.m./ p.m. combination routes and mid-day routes bid separately, will be filled by the following method, and will be posted for three (3) working days.

Upon return they will be assigned a position and be paid their prior contracted hours or new hours whichever is greater. They shall be eligible to bid the next bid cycle or any posted vacancies. Vacancies will be filled as described below: A. All (bus /van) Routes will be bid prior to the month of October with the changing of routes to occur on October 1. Bid routes will be available for viewing at least two (2) working days prior to the bid date. Any routes not selected shall be considered a position vacancy and handled in accordance with Article 6, Section 6.3.4 (B) (1,2,3). B. All Driving Position vacancies (including new positions), including A.M./ P.M. combination routes, mid-day routes bid separately, will be filled by the following method, and will be posted for three (3) working days. Bidding of Routes a. Pursuant to Article V.G, bus drivers shall bid for routes on their first work day of the school year. Routes will be re-bid (according to the same provisions) during the first week of December. b. Starting and ending time for bus drivers will be determined by the needs of the District. These times will be established by the Transportation Supervisor. c. Any route changes of thirty (30) minutes or more will necessitate a re-bid process.

  • Heating of Room Throughout the Term the Manager will provide a heating system sufficient to provide a comfortable temperature in the Room and will operate, maintain and repair that heating system. During any period in which the heating system is not functioning to the standards set out above, the Manager will use commercially reasonable efforts, after receiving notice of the deficiency, to have the system repaired and functioning as soon as may be possible in the circumstances. In no event however, is the Manager liable to the Resident for any consequential illness or discomfort and the Manager shall not be deemed to be in default of its obligations under this Agreement, so long as it is using commercially reasonable efforts to have the system repaired.

Unsuccessful E-Bidders will have the deposit paid processed to be refunded to the same bank account from which the deposit transfer was made within three (3) working days. 4.16. BHD. website regarding the public auction, particularly to the calling of bidding price during the bidding process and the declaration of successful bidder shall be final and conclusive.

The highest bidder shall be declared as the successful purchaser upon the fall of the hammer. 3.6. In the event that there is no bid after forty(40) seconds from the time of commencement of the auction, the auction shall be aborted. 3.7. Any bid once entered by the registered online E-bidders shall be binding and the bid shall not be withdrawn or retracted in any manner whatsoever after the fall of the hammer. 3.8. Both the successful and unsuccessful bidders will be notified by the Auctioneer through the website and also via E-mail where further directions are given in order to conclude the sale of the auction property. 3.9. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Auctioneer shall be final and binding on all bidders. 3.10. Unsuccessful E-bidders shall have the deposit refunded to the same bank account from which the deposit transfer was made within two (2) working days from the date of auction. 3.11. The information shown and/or prompted on the screen handled by the PAH website in regards to the auction in particular the increment of the bidding price during the bidding process and the declaration of the successful bidder shall be final and conclusive.
