Bonus Days. Bonus Days. Subject to subparagraphs (1), (2) and (3) below, all employees shall receive a day off with pay for each six hundred and forty (640) hours of work. Hours to include: hours of work, statutory holidays, bonus days, sick pay, and jury and witness pay. Bonus day to be scheduled on a mutually agreed upon date within one (1) month of date earned and to be combined with regular day off.
Bonus Days. Section 1. At the completion of each calendar year, all full-time Employees covered by this Agreement shall be entitled to receive paid bonus days as set forth in "Appendix B". Paid bonus days shall be taken on the same basis as vacation days in the year following the calendar year which was the basis for allowance thereof or they shall be forfeited. Instead of taking bonus days as time off, eligible Employees may elect to receive part or all of such bonus days in cash. Such election must be made in writing, in accordance with procedures established by the City, and filed with the City no later than January 20 following the year in which such bonus days was earned. Bonus days so elected to be taken in cash will be paid by the City to such electing Employees, at the Employees rate of pay in effect on the December 31st immediately preceding such election, no later than January 31st following such election.
Bonus Days i. Bonus pay will be awarded as set forth in this Section to any employee who uses fewer than two (2) accrue per bonus pay period during the school year. The two bonus pay periods will run from August 15 through January 31 and from February 1 through the end of the school year. Bonus Days. 8.01 On January 1 of each year, regular employees with three (3) or more years of seniority shall be entitled to a bonus day to be taken as time off in accordance with the following: Completed Years of Service Bonus Entitlement (Days) 3 < 8 3 days 8 < 15 4 days 15 < 20 5 days 20 < 25 6 days 25 + 7 days Notwithstanding the above, employees with all the required prerequisites will earn two (2) Bonus Days if they achieve full benefit status between January 1st to June 30th. Employees with all the required prerequisites will earn one (1) Bonus Day if they achieve full benefit status between July 1st and December 31st.
Bonus Days. Only those unit members who work five (5) days per week are eligible to earn up to two (2) bonus days per year. Employees who work less than five (5) days per week are eligible to earn no more than one (1) bonus day per year. Unit members may earn bonus days as follows:
Bonus Days. Should death or burial in the immediate family occur in a city located more than one hundred fifty (150) miles from Toledo, an additional two (2) days for travel shall be granted and paid. The Command Officer may take two (2) days to attend the funeral and reserve a day to attend to the legal matters made necessary by the death. This benefit shall also be extended when the relative is a veteran being returned for burial. One (1) day of funeral pay shall be granted to attend the funeral of the Command Officer's or the Officer’s spouse’s or Life Partner’s xxxxxx mother, xxxxxx father, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, sister-in-law and brother-in-law. When a special filial relationship exists between the Command Officer and any relative for whom the Command Officer would normally be granted one (1) day of funeral pay, three (3) days funeral pay will be granted when the Command Officer furnishes the Director of Human Resources an affidavit proving the existence of a special filial relationship. A filial relationship is defined as being one in which the Command Officer bears or assumes a relationship with another individual similar to that of a child, off spring, or parent.
