Career Transition. A bargaining unit employee accepting severance will also be entitled to professional career management assistance made available through the company’s 3rd party contract firm. The bargaining unit employee is encouraged to use these services in order to assist in identifying career options and making a successful transition. The bargaining unit employee will be entitled to up to one (1) month of professional career management assistance. Enbridge Gas Inc. and Unifor recognize that violence, or the threat of violence, resulting from a domestic dispute can impact the health and safety of employees. To minimize this risk, and to ensure the safety of yourself and others, Enbridge Gas Inc. has established procedures for the safe reporting and management of such situations.
Career Transition. During the notice of layoff period
(a) The CTC shall provide affected employees access to career transition services to a maximum of $2,500 if requested within three months from the date of layoff. In the event that the employee wishes to use the cost of the career transition services for the purpose of purchasing training, the CTC will reimburse the cost of training to a maximum of $2,500 upon presentation of receipts. The request for reimbursement must be made within twelve (12) months from the date of layoff.
(b) Employees are responsible for actively seeking employment in cooperation with the CTC.
(c) Where operations permit, the CTC shall provide reasonable time off with pay to an affected employee to attend employment interviews and other job selection process.
Career Transition. Executive shall be reimbursed up to $40,000 to be used for career transition support as determined by Executive as provided in the Severance Plan.

c) Where operations permit, the CTC shall provide reasonable time off with pay to an affected employee to attend employment interviews and other job selection process.
Career Transition. Employees not appointed to a position through reconfirmation, reassignment or internal recruitment will continue to be supported during the time they are employed with the Ministry: • Through approval from their line manager reasonable paid time to prepare/update CV’s • Through approval from their line manager reasonable time to prepare for and attend interviews. The Ministry will provide support through the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) on a case by case basis
Career Transition. EMPLOYER will provide a check for $2,000.00 payable to EMPLOYEE after the Resignation Date that may be used for professional career transition purposes.

Career Transition. Once in each six-year period, unless otherwise agreed by the Xxxx (or nominee), an academic staff member can change from their current workload allocation category to nominate for a career transition program, and submit a plan for research, scholarship and/or teaching intended to be undertaken over the next three years. An academic staff member whose submission is successful would be assigned to a different workload allocation category for an agreed period of time with altered percentages of research, scholarship and teaching.
Career Transition. 8.1 A Career Transition Service will be managed by The Company supported by appropriate external consultancy where necessary for surplus employees.
8.2 Unless otherwise required by law to give preference to other candidates, all job vacancies in the first instance will be made available to surplus employees registered with the Career Transition Service, for whom such roles are reasonable alternative employment. Surplus employees will be considered, undergo matching and where appropriate be interviewed, for such job vacancies that they have applied for. As such, in order to look for and secure reasonable alternative employment, surplus employees will have a period of 12 months on Career Transition unless otherwise agreed by the Review Board. This means that surplus employees will be expected to apply for vacancies or may be matched to vacancies by the Company.
8.3 In circumstances in which there are multiple identical vacancies of a greater number than there are suitable surplus employees, the job may be advertised in parallel.
8.4 If the job remains unfilled, it will be advertised Company wide in accordance with The Company’s recruitment and selection policy in place at the time.
8.5 Where surplus employees secure a job on a secondment basis, their timeline on Career Transition will be suspended until the secondment ends.
8.6 Departments undergoing restructuring are not expected to give prior consideration to surplus employees from other departments whilst their own restructuring is in progress.
8.7 BA will support individuals, with appropriate training where necessary and reasonable to facilitate redeployment.
Career Transition a. Any Artist who has completed their eighth (8th) year of service or more with the Employer, and has been notified that they will not be reengaged for the following season for artistic reasons or other reasons or has decided to retire from dancing as a career, will be paid an amount equal to the seniority pay they earned during the preceding season as a career transition payment except in the case of an Artist who has been non-reengaged for just cause. Additionally, the Employer agrees to double any relevant career transition payment calculated above (i.e., if the transition payment would calculate out to an amount of $4,000, the final payment would be $8,000).
b. Payments made under this paragraph will be split equally over the remaining payroll dates of the Company that occur between the end of the regular season and the end of that fiscal year. No career transition payments will be made to any Artist who is disabled, for any period that they are receiving disability pay under paragraph 30 below.
