Degree Stipends Sample Clauses

Degree StipendsThe District agrees to additionally compensate employees with associates or bachelor’s degrees in accordance with Appendix B attached hereto. Degree stipends will be spread over all pay periods. Associate Degree $500.00 annually Bachelor’s Degree $1,000.00 annually
Degree Stipends. Full-time and adjunct faculty who possess or earn a master’s, or doctoral degree are eligible to receive a degree stipend payment each academic year. Adjunct faculty degree stipends are prorated based on a percentage of full-time teaching load per quarter (summer quarter excluded). The degree stipend does not become part of the employee’s base pay. One (1) degree stipend will be provided at the highest degree level for each academic year. The stipend may only be paid for earned degrees beyond degrees already attained. For example, an individual who already has a master’s degree would not receive a stipend for subsequently earning a second master’s degree. Official transcripts from a regionally accredited institutions must be provided to Human Resources to qualify for the stipend; stipends will not be applied retroactively. Adjustments are only made at the beginning of the next annual contract (full-time faculty) or quarterly contract (adjunct faculty).
Degree Stipends a. Master’s Degree (in Class C, D, E and F only ): 3.3% of the Stipend Base. $1456. b. Doctorate Degree: 6.6% of the Stipend Base c. Official transcripts verifying degree conferral must be submitted to Human Resources by November 1 to receive the stipend for the current school year. Teacher fulfillment of all degree requirements must have been completed prior Degree must have been conferred to the first day of the employee’s work year. It is the responsibility of the teacher to obtain transcripts on or before this deadline. Transcripts received after this deadline shall not be considered for stipend issuance until the succeeding school year.
Degree Stipends. 14.11.1 The stipend for an M.A., Ph.D, Ed.D, or National Certification shall be two percent (2%) of Step one (1) Column five (5) of the Salary Schedule. 14.11.2 A teacher may only earn one (1) stipend for an M.A. but may earn an additional stipend for an M.A. and higher degree.
Degree StipendsMembers of the bargaining unit shall receive an annual stipend for completion of degree work as follows: The degree must be from an accredited college or university. For degrees received from a college or university outside of the United States, an evaluation done by the Center for Educational Documentation must be submitted. All degree payments will be a lump sum and shall be paid at the last pay period in June of each year.
Degree Stipends. A. Bargaining unit members who possess an earned Associate of Arts degree shall be paid a yearly stipend of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) while those who possess an earned Bachelor of Arts degree shall be paid a yearly stipend of four hundred dollars ($400.00) and while those who possess an earned Master’s degree shall be paid a yearly stipend of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00) which shall be paid monthly each year of employment after filing official transcripts on or before June 15th with the Personnel Department. No form of document other than the official transcripts shall represent evidence for payment. If transcripts are submitted after June 15st, payment shall commence the next school year. B. The stipend will be prorated for employees who work less than a forty-hour workweek, or less than one full school year. For purposes of calculating the professional learning stipend, a school year shall be defined as the period from the start of school in September to the last date of school in June.
Degree Stipends. 1. Effective July 1, 2023, annual salary for R.N.'s who possess a bachelor's degree shall be increased by $1,000.00. 2. Effective July 1, 2023, annual salary for R.N.'s who possess a master's degree in nursing shall be increased by $2,000.00. Notwithstanding the foregoing, annual salary for R.N.'s hired prior to July 6, 2023 who possess a master's degree in a field of study other than nursing shall also receive $2,000.00 effective July 1, 2023.
Degree Stipends. The District shall offer the following degree stipends which shall be added to the annual salary. Stipends for degrees are cumulative up to a maximum of $3000. Doctoral Degree: $1,500 Master's Degree: $1,500 Bachelor's Degree (Classified Staff only): $500 Beginning on the anniversary date of hire in the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th year of service in MHELA employees will receive a longevity career increment of 2.5% of the current salary. Only years of service within MHELA will be counted for the purpose of longevity career increment. Years 5-9 = Step on schedule + 2.5% Years 10-14 = Step on schedule + 5.0% Years 15-19 = Step on schedule + 7.5% Years 20-24 = Step on schedule + 10.0% Years 25+ = Step on schedule +12.5%
Degree Stipends. A stipend shall be added annually to an employee's base salary to recognize academic achievement. 1. Doctor's degree or equivalent (such as CPA, PE) Four Hundred Dollars ($400). 2. Master's degree: Three Hundred Dollars ($300). 3. Bachelor’s degree: Two Hundred Dollars ($200). 4. Associate degree: One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150). 5. Stipends payable under this section shall be for the highest degree held. Stipends are noncumulative but are added each year following any base salary adjustments.

  • Performance Expectations The Charter School’s performance in relation to the indicators, measures, metrics and targets set forth in the CPF shall provide the basis upon which the SCSC will decide whether to renew the Charter School’s Charter Contract at the end of the charter term. This section shall not preclude the SCSC from considering other relevant factors in making renewal decisions.

  • Workload An employee who believes that her workload is unsafe or consistently excessive shall discuss the problem with her immediate supervisor. If the problem is not resolved in this discussion, the employee may seek a remedy by means of the grievance procedure. If the matter is not resolved in the grievance procedure, it may be referred to troubleshooter who shall: a) investigate the difference; b) define the issue in the difference; and c) make written recommendations to resolve the differences.

  • Workloads The parties agree to the following provisions relating to faculty members' workload. (a) The registration limits for all courses currently offered by the Employer in the academic, career and technology areas are 35 unless established by practice as lower, excepting multiple sections where the limit is the correct multiple of the number of sections involved. (b) The registration limits for English are as follows: (i) Writing and Composition Courses - 25 (ii) Writing Skills -17 (iii) Creative Writing - 22

  • Progressive Discipline Both parties endorse the principle of progressive discipline as applied to professionals.

  • Other Methods of Procurement of Consultants’ Services The following table specifies the methods of procurement, other than Quality and Cost-based Selection, which may be used for consultants’ services. The Procurement Plan shall specify the circumstances under which such methods may be used. (a) Quality-based Selection (b) Selection under a Fixed Budget

  • Particular Methods of Procurement of Consultants’ Services 1. Quality- and Cost-based Selection. Except as otherwise provided in paragraph 2 below, consultants’ services shall be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of Quality and Cost-based Selection.

  • Teamwork At Citizens’ discretion, Vendor Staff may be required to work in cooperation with another vendor’s staff or report to a supervisor from another vendor. Vendor shall cooperate and cause its staff to cooperate with any other Citizens’ vendor or any other party identified by Citizens.

  • Goal The goals of the Department’s grants are to: 1. Reduce delinquency, increase offender accountability, and rehabilitate juvenile offenders through a comprehensive, coordinated, community-based juvenile probation system;
