Description of the Activities. The activities, services, programs, and facilities at Refreshing Mountain provide opportunities for adventure recreation, including but not limited to ziplining, aerial excursion courses, elevated obstacle courses, high ropes courses, climbing, rappelling, giant swings (collectively, “aerial activities”), hiking, escape rooms, horseback riding, swimming and swim lessons, archery, slingshots, pedal carts, scavenger hunts, physical challenge courses, playgrounds, domesticated animal encounters, wildlife encounters, and other similar experiences. MEDICAL CONCERNS. Participants must be reasonably fit, must be able to demonstrate the required skill, and be able to understand all instructions prior to participating in any activity. Obesity, high blood pressure, cardiac and coronary artery disease, pulmonary problems, pregnancy, arthritis, tendonitis, prior head, neck, or back injuries or other joint and muscular-skeletal problems may impair the safety and wellbeing of participants during the activities, as may medical, physical, psychological and psychiatric problems. All such conditions may increase the inherent risks of the experience and cause the participant to be a danger to themselves and others. Participants with underlying medical problems that put them at greater risk of injury or illness during an activity must carefully consider those risks before choosing to participate, and they must fully inform the staff prior to the beginning of the activity. Refreshing Mountain reserves the right to exclude an applicant from participation for medical, safety, and/or other reasons.
Description of the Activities. PERFORMED BY RECIPIENT Description of the Activity performed by the RECIPIENT: The Danish Diabetes Association will develop new guidelines for type-1 and type-2 diabetes. The purpose of the guidelines is to give the patients a good understanding of the disease. (The details of the Activity are provided in Appendix "Description of the Activity" of this Agreement)
Description of the Activities. The Activities for which the Advance is provided consist of the following parts:
(a) Preparation of the Project, including the fiduciary arrangements and Project manuals, through: (i) the provision of (A) consultants’ services; and (B) computer and internet hardware and software; and (ii) the assessment of its electrical installations and on the basis of said assessment, refurbishing of the same as necessary.
(b) Preparation of environmental and social safeguard instruments for the Project.
(c) Assessment of the institutional strengthening and capacity building needs of the MDDEFE.
(d) Carrying out of studies to identify, evaluate and recommend suitable measures to operationalize the National Program for Afforestation and Reforestation.
Description of the Activities. The Activities for which the Advance is provided consist of the following parts: Preparation of the Project’s safeguards documents; preparation of a limited economic and financial analysis update of the Project’s implementation manual; update of the Project’s Administrative and Financial Management Manual; update of the Project’s Monitoring and Evaluation Manual; update of the Project’s Computerized Management and Information System; preparation of an institutional analysis; elaboration of the national Project Document, which shall describe the Project activities, costs and components; preparation of a study tour of the Niger, Burkina Faso and Senegal Community Driven Development Projects; carrying out of an analysis of the Project’s extension to other zones; carrying out of a study on the next steps for decentralization; carrying out of a study of the cost of materials for the construction of micro-projects related to the Project; carrying out of national and regional workshops to disseminate inter alia the Project Implementation Manual and to launch the Project; and acquisition of goods including vehicles and office equipment.
Description of the Activities. The Activities for which the Advance is provided consist of:
i) Preparing the procurement plan and implementation manual for the Project;
ii) undertaking a comprehensive risk assessment of critical elements related to the RTGS upgrade path;
iii) conducting a financial literacy survey of households in the Recipient’s territory;
iv) developing a resolution framework and associated regulations for insurances companies;
v) advising and drawing up options on the future of the Recipient’s switch centre;
vi) developing the design and structure of the national pensions scheme based on the Recipient’s pensions bill; and
vii) supporting staffing of the RBM PMU.
Description of the Activities. The Activities for which the Advance is provided consist of the following parts:
(a) Providing support in carrying out the technical feasibility and preparatory studies.
(b) Preparation of key Project documents including the safeguards documents and the implementation manual.
(c) Recruitment of staff for the Project implementation unit and provision of Operating Costs, all for the purpose of Project preparation and readiness.
Description of the Activities. The Activities for which the Advance is provided consist of the following parts: Site investigations and preparation study to determine remediation requirements and budgets for the selected historic industrial waste disposal sites. Siting and feasibility study for the development of a national hazardous waste disposal facility in Montenegro. Environmental assessments for industrial disposal sites remediation works and establishment of national hazardous waste disposal facility. Project management, including fiduciary functions, procurement and financial management, monitoring and evaluation.
Description of the Activities. The Activities for which the Advance is provided consist of the following parts:
(i) Carrying out of key studies necessary for the preparation of the Project including institutional studies.
(ii) Recruitment of a hydraulic specialist and an urban development specialist.
(iii) Carrying out of study tours and workshops.
(iv) Acquisition of equipments and office supplies.
Description of the Activities. The Activities for which the Advance is provided consist of the following parts: Carrying out Project preparation activities, including: (i) supporting the establishment of the Project preparation team within the Recipient’s Ministry of Agriculture (MoA); (ii) preparing studies, assessments and manuals in connection with the Project (e.g., an environmental and social impact assessment and Project implementation manual); and (iii) building the capacity of the MoA (namely, the Project preparation team) through consultations with stakeholders and training/workshops in Monrovia and the project areas. Carrying out Project implementation start-up activities, including: (i) setting-up the Project steering committee; (ii) building the capacity of counterpart staff through training; (iii) undertaking Project start-up procurement activities; and (iv) supporting to the establishment of an administrative office for the Project (office furnishings, equipment and operating costs).
