Driver’s Qualifications. The hirees and/ or drivers must be over the age of 25 years and under the age of 70 yrs and hold a current full drivers’ l i cense i ssued in Australia. • The hirees and/or drivers must not be a learner driver. A provisional or probationary l icence holder or has not held a full drivers l i cence for any c lass of vehicle for at least two years. • All hirees/drivers need to be identified on this hire agreement & have s igned and completed the hire agreement, before driving the Motorhome. • The hirees and/or drivers agree not to drive the Motorhome under the influence of i l legal drugs or over the legal l imit of alcohol which i s 0.05%. • The hirees and/or driver agree to obey all state and national road laws. • The hirees/drivers shall be accountable for any damage or costs associated by failing to obey these laws. • The hirees and/or drivers must not have had their drivers l i cence cancelled or suspensed within the last three years or drivers l i cence refusals, or criminal convictions. • The hirees and/or drivers must produce a hardcopy of their drivers l i cen ce as a digital driver’s l i cence i s unacceptable. • The hirees and/or drivers must not have been refused any motor vehicle insurance or renewal insurance. • The hirees and/or drivers are prohibited from driving or operating this vehicle who uses or intend s to use this Vehicle for any i l legal purpose • Any traffic infringements will incur a $75 admin fee.  The cost of any damage to the Motorhome/equipment occasioned outside of normal wear and tear will be payable by the hiree and adjusted against the security bond.  If the damage results in the cancellation of a future hire then this loss i s also payable by the hiree.  The hiree i s to notify the hirer of a ny damage as soon as i t occurs, please keep photo’s, video’s or audios as evidence and return broken equipment  Any costs for damages above the bond amount that are not covered by insurance, will be met by the hiree.  Tyres, punctured, blown or shredded, are to be replaced with an equivalent tyre (no retreads) see ’Tyres/Windscreen’ in hire agreement at hiree’s expense, prior to returning.  Any damage to wheel rims will be paid for by the hiree from the bond.  The cost of any malicious damage to the motorhome during the hire period shall come out of the bond and any additional costs will be paid by the hiree.  The cost of any missing, broken, lost or substituted items will be deducted from the bond.  If the odemeter i s delib...

Driver’s Qualifications. All drivers shall be trained and qualified in the operation of vehicles they operate and must possess a valid license, of the appropriate class, issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Each driver of a collection vehicle shall at all times comply with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations and requirements.

Pursuant to Education Code section 49406, Contractor’s responsibility for tuberculosis clearance extends to all of its employees, agents, and volunteers coming into contact with District students regardless of whether they are designated as employees or acting as independent contractors of the Contractor. Contractor shall ensure that any person providing any portion of the Services under the Agreement, within the past sixty (60) days, has submitted to a tuberculosis risk assessment, and if tuberculosis risk factors were identified, has been examined to determine that he or she is free of infectious tuberculosis by a licensed health care provider (i.e., physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or registered nurse). Contractor shall ensure that any person providing any portion of the Services with no identified risk factors or who tests negative for the tuberculosis infection shall undergo the tuberculosis risk assessment and, if risk factors are identified, the examination, at least once every four (4) years or more often if directed by 8.4. Drivers shall be required to check in with Contractor for messages before beginning a route. 8.5. A driver shall contact dispatcher immediately upon determination that the route shall be in excess of ten (10) minutes late. Dispatcher shall immediately notify all necessary persons, including parents/guardians. 8.6. Following California Department of Education guidelines, the Contractor shall employ at least one full-time trainer and safety instructor who will also personally travel each route with the assigned driver at least one each year to survey the driver’s performance, route hazards, and equipment efficiency.
