Duration and Compensation. (a) Faculty Members employed on an academic-year basis granted sabbatical leave for one semester shall be paid one-half of the yearly contract salary during such semester leave. Such Faculty Member on summer sabbatical will be paid on the basis of the Faculty Member's yearly contract salary for the period set forth in subsection (d). Faculty Members employed on a fiscal-year basis who are granted a one (1) semester or summer sabbatical will continue to receive full contract salary during the period of such leave.

Duration and Compensation. A sabbatical may involve absence for an academic year at half-salary (fall-spring or spring-fall) or a semester (fall or spring) at full salary. An academic year sabbatical can be for fall-spring or for spring-fall.
Duration and Compensation. A sabbatical leave shall be either a half-year (fall or spring semester, which may also include the January Term) at full salary or a full academic year (fall and spring semesters and January Term) at half salary. Faculty will be required to return to OBU and teach for one year immediately following the leave or reimburse OBU for the salary received during the sabbatical leave. Applicants are encouraged to identify additional external sources for support of sabbatical leave expenses. A faculty member on sabbatical leave will retain the rights, benefits, and privileges of a full-time faculty member. Acceptance of a sabbatical leave will not interfere with annualized increases in salary, reception of employee benefits, or contract and rank status. The period of leave will count as time of service toward eligibility for promotion on the same basis as a period of on-campus instruction.

Duration and Compensation. Sabbatical leaves at Fairmont State University may be granted for a period of one semester or two consecutive semesters. A person on sabbatical leave will receive full salary for one semester (4 l/2 months) or half salary for two semesters (9 months).
Duration and Compensation. The Advisor Period shall begin on the Conversion Date and continue through the earlier of (i) the one-year anniversary of the Conversion Date, (ii) Executive’s death or disability (as defined for purposes of Social Security Disability), or (iii) Executive’s resignation for any reason; provided, however that such termination shall not affect any Sections of this Agreement other than Sections 4 and 5. During the Advisor Period, the Company shall pay Executive 75% of the total compensation it pays an independent director, payable in cash in quarterly installments in advance of each calendar quarter beginning on the Conversion Date and continuing through the end of the Advisor Period. By mutual agreement of the Company and the Executive, this Advisor Period can be extended under the same terms annually.
