Education Trust Fund. The Employer shall contribute the amount established in the respective wage schedule per hour of labour worked by his/her Employees covered by the terms of this Agreement. Contributions will be made on the basis of full or half hours. The terms of the Educational Trust Fund will not be negotiable under the terms of any collective bargaining agreement. Only that portion pertaining to the number of cents per person-hour earned may be negotiated in each succeeding Agreement. The Employer and the Union agree to comply with all the provisions and requirements of the Education Fund and the Declaration of Trust established between the certified mechanical and piping Employers signatory to a United Association Collective Agreement and U.A. Local 179, with such rules and regulations as the Trustees deem necessary for the successful operation of the said Trust Fund. In case of the failure of the Employer to contribute into the Fund on the due date, the Trustees in their joint names may take legal action against the Employer for recovery of the amount due.
Education Trust Fund. Supplement No. 12 contains the agreed upon general principles and parameters of the Education Trust Fund. Effective July 1, 2012, the contributions will be increased to five cents ($0.05) per hour worked per employee.
Education Trust Fund. The Employer will contribute to the Asbestos Workers Education Trust Fund in accordance with the attached Appendix A and forming part of this Agreement.
Education Trust Fund. 19.01 (a) The Company shall contribute to the Union the sum of three cents ($0.03) per hour per employee for each hour worked for education and training of Union members.
Education Trust Fund. The Employer will contribute the amount established in the respective wage schedule per hour (see note below) for each hour worked by each Employee covered by this Agreement into the "Asbestos Workers Education Trust Fund". Contributions will be submitted by the 15th of the month following the month in which the hours were worked and mailed to the address designated by the Fund Trustees for deposit to a Trust Fund Deposit Account established by the Fund Trustees.
Education Trust Fund. (a) The Employers and the Union hereby establish an Education Trust Fund for the training of Apprentices and Journeymen. Each Employer agrees to pay to such Education Trust Fund an amount described in Article IX for each hour of work performed by all Employees, including Apprentices, and each Employer agrees to pay the amount set out in Article IX for each hour of work performed by all Employees under the jurisdiction of the Union. Payments to the Education Trust Fund shall be in accordance with the terms of the trust indenture agreement referred to in this Article.
(b) The Education Trust Fund shall be controlled and administered by the JATC Trustee Committee composed of an equal number of Union and Employer representatives as provided in this Article. The Union and the Employer have executed a Trust Indenture Agreement carrying out the purposes of this agreement.
(c) All Employers covered by this agreement or made a party thereto shall make payments to the Educational Trust Fund as set out herein. Such payments shall be made in accordance with the instructions on the reporting forms which shall be supplied to the Employer.
Education Trust Fund. (a) The Company will contribute to an education Fund to be established by the Union. The contributions will be five cents ($.05) per hour per employee per hour worked effective upon the first day of the first month after ratification.
(b) The Company will remit the contribution directly to the Local Union, by cheque marked UNITED STEELWORKERS, Local 2009 Education Fund.
(c) The Company will remit such accumulated contributions for each calendar month within fourteen (14) days of the end of each month, with a written statement of the number of employees employed by the Company and the total number of hours worked by all employees.
(d) The Union in its sole discretion will determine the uses of the Funds. The Funds will be used to develop training in the following areas: Grievance Handling Collective Bargaining Environmental Issues Land Use Issues Stewards Training Parliamentary Procedure & Public Speaking Communication Skills Leadership Training Economic Issues Benefits Training Health and Safety Union History Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Fund will be used to develop and deliver programs, and to pay for administration costs, time lost from work to attend education and training, travel, accommodation and such other reasonable costs as the Working Committee determines appropriate regarding the operation and administration of the Fund.

(b) The Company will remit the contribution directly to the Local Union, by cheque marked U.S.W. Canada, Local 2009 Education Fund.
Education Trust Fund. In addition to the hourly rate payable to the employee, the Division shall contribute to the Local 2085 Electrical Industry Education Trust Fund, for all employees covered under this Collective Agreement, at the following rate: Contribution - 5¢ per hour The Division shall be consulted and have input with regards to what programs are offered to Divisional employees when programs occur at non-working times, employees of the Division will attend at no cost whatsoever to the Division.
Education Trust Fund. The Employer and the Union do hereby agree to maintain an Educational Trust Fund for the training of Apprentices and Journeymen in accordance with the Trust Agreement that has been established and approved by both parties to the Agreement. The Employer agrees to pay and contribute to this Fund the sum noted on wage and fringe benefit schedule on page 2, for each hour worked for all Journeymen and Apprentices in the employ of the Employer. This fund will be administered in strict compliance with Section 302 (c) of the Labor Management Relations Act, the Internal Revenue Code and other applicable law, and that Counsel for the Funds will supply the Association and Employers with satisfactory evidence of such compliance as required.
