Employee on Leave Clause Samples
The 'Employee on Leave' clause defines the rights and obligations of both the employer and the employee when the employee is absent from work due to approved leave, such as vacation, sick leave, or parental leave. It typically outlines the procedures for requesting leave, the duration and types of leave permitted, and any requirements for documentation or notice. This clause ensures that both parties understand the expectations during periods of absence, helping to maintain workplace continuity and prevent misunderstandings regarding job security, pay, and benefits during leave.
