Environmental Initiatives. A. The Concessionaire shall operate the Properties in an environmentally responsible manner. Where practical, the Concessionaire will implement and utilize energy efficient policies, procedures, and products. The Concessionaire shall not use Styrofoam products including cups, plates or take-out containers and shall provide alternatives to plastic products when practical including biodegradable, bamboo, or other environmentally approved straws and swizzle straws at the facilities.
Environmental Initiatives. CVAL is committed to supporting emission reduction, energy conservation, and other environmental initiatives in the region and has been an active green initiatives participant for many years. CVAL participates in, and follows below mentioned green initiatives

Access, temporary occupancy and other rights reasonably necessary to comply with environmental initiatives and/or policies of City, local, state and federal agencies or the Harbor Department, provided that the exercise of such rights do not materially interfere with the Permitted Uses.
Environmental Initiatives. Client encourages all of its suppliers to implement and adhere to environmentally beneficial policies and practices. Accenture shall use commercially reasonable efforts to implement environmentally beneficial practices specific to its industry that meet at least the minimum standard (if any) recommended for its industry. Upon Client’s reasonable request, Accenture will provide Client with written information on its environmental policies and procedures.
Environmental Initiatives. Landlord shall have the right, but not obligation, to implement any environmental initiatives that it deems prudent, acting reasonably. Tenant shall take all reasonable steps to comply with such initiatives, including, but not limited to, accumulating and reporting on usage or other data as required by Landlord. The obligations of the parties hereto pursuant to Schedule 10 hereof shall form a part of this Lease.
Environmental Initiatives. Recycling. Tenant agrees to recycle the following items: (i) Paper; (ii) Cardboard; (iii) Plastics; (iv) Aluminum Cans/Metals; and (v) Glass. Take appropriate measures for the safe collection, storage, and disposal of: (vi) batteries, (vii) mercury-containing lamps, and (viii) electronic waste.
Environmental Initiatives. The Energy Facility Siting Board has directed Footprint to contribute at least $300,000 to the City of Salem dedicated to the development of an off-site emission reduction program targeted to greenhouse gases and PM2.5, among other air pollutants. Footprint, with the assistance of the City, shall prepare a report detailing the activities that are to be funded by the off-site emissions reduction program, including the costs, timeframes, and anticipated environmental benefits of the identified projects, to be submitted to the Siting Board within one year of commercial operation of the proposed facility. Such contribution will be made in three equal annual installments of $100,000 each beginning on the date of the submission of such report to the Siting Board. Footprint and Footprint RealCo support Salem’s efforts to engage in climate change adaptability planning and implementation. Footprint RealCo will encourage environmentally responsible development on the Lot 2. Footprint will provide seed funding in the amount of $50,000 per year for 5 years for a revolving loan program for sustainable initiatives in Salem pursuant to a mechanism to be mutually agreed between Footprint and the City, beginning on the date the CCG Facility achieves Commercial Operation. Footprint RealCo will support renewable energy initiatives, and will work with the City to assist with off shore wind interconnections to the National Grid switchyard on the site. Footprint will continue to provide funding in the amount of $50,000 per year for 5 years that will support the city’s existing environmental initiatives. Footprint will define next steps and conduct any studies necessary to move forward on potential symbiotic opportunities with SESD including, but not limited to the continued exploration of the use of the SESD’s greywater in the CCG Facility’s cooling process. Footprint will, at every reasonable opportunity, support legislation that advocates for responsible natural gas extraction. Footprint RealCo will work with the City to provide the necessary infrastructure at the port to allow for a plug-in / cold ironing option for docked vessels, where feasible. Employment and Inclusion Footprint will provide funding needed to train public safety personnel on an ongoing basis as needed, in particular a minimum of 4, quarterly drills per year for Fire Department personnel or as agreed to with the Fire Chief.
