Field Training Officer Pay. If the Chief of Police/Designee designates an employee as a Field Training Officer (FTO), the FTO will receive an additional one (1) hour of pay at time and one-half for each eight (8) hour shift and 1.25 hours for each ten (10) hour shift served as FTO. To be eligible to be a Field Training Officer the employee must: • Complete and pass an approved Field Training Officer course; and Must be designated as an FTO by the Chief of Police/Designee, at CSCC
Field Training Officer Pay. Officers assigned to Field Training Officer assignments shall be entitled to receive an hourly wage rate fifteen percent (15%) above his or her current hourly wage rate for all hours worked while in said capacity.
Field Training Officer Pay. Officers assigned to work as a field training officer will receive an additional $3.00 per hour compensation for all hours worked as a field training officer.
ARTICLE 12 TRAINING TIME, COURT TIME, CALL TIME
Field Training Officer Pay. If bargaining unit members are assigned to the position of Field Training Officer, they shall receive an additional $3,500.00 per year as compensation in FY22 and FY23. This benefit is subject to normal withholding..
Field Training Officer Pay. Employees assigned to perform the function of Field Training Officer (FTO) will receive $100.00 for the 1st Phase, $75.00 for the 2nd Phase, $75.00 for the 3rd Phase, and $50.00 for the 4th Phase of the Probationary Officer’s training. If an extension of the training is necessary, the officer assigned as the FTO will receive $40.00.
Field Training Officer Pay a. Employees shall receive, while functioning in a Field training capacity for a full shift, a $6.50 Training Officer differential when:
(1) Training new employees or retraining existing employees.
(2) Acting as a Certified Motorcycle Training Officer during a Category II training period of newly assigned motorcycle riders or the reassignment evaluation of existing Category I motorcycle riders.
b. Effective January 1, 2000, employees shall receive, while functioning in a field training capacity for a full shift, a differential of 5% of the daily rate of base pay for every day in which the employee meets the requirements set forth in this section.
(1) Training new employees or retraining existing employees.
(2) Acting as a Certified Motorcycle Training Officer during a Category II training period of newly assigned motorcycle riders or the reassignment evaluation of existing Category I motorcycle riders.
c. Field Training Officer pay does not apply to situations where an experienced or skilled employee is required to informally impart his/her knowledge to a newly hired or less experienced employee. Such payments shall be made during the following pay period provided certification of eligibility occurs prior to the payroll cut-off date. Certification occurring after the deadline date may result in a delayed payment to a following pay period.
d. The daily rate of pay shall be calculated by taking the base pay of the employee; divide by 21.667 (average work days per month) and multiply by 5%.
Field Training Officer Pay. An Animal Control Officer assigned as a Certified Field Training Officer (FTO), after successfully completing the CJTC Field Training Officer Academy course, shall receive a premium pay of 5.0% of their base pay for any pay period in which the employee is assigned and performs FTO duties for at least one (1) entire shift. Only Animal Control Officers are eligible for FTO pay. Only one (1) FTO may be assigned at a time. The Police Chief shall have the sole discretion to designate and assign FTOs.
Field Training Officer Pay. Any employee assigned as a field training officer (“FTO”), including sergeants, shall, for the period of time while actually performing such duties, receive an additional ten percent (10%) of regular base pay in addition to regular salary, when assigned to train another officer or sergeant.
Field Training Officer Pay. Police Officers acting in the capacity of Field Training Officer (FTO) shall be paid an additional eighty dollars ($80.00) per day, while performing that duty.
Field Training Officer Pay. The City will pay selected Police Officers Field Training Officer (FTO) assignment pay (12.5% of base salary) on an as needed basis who meet the Department established standards. This FTO assignment pay will be paid for those hours while the employee is assigned and scheduled to provide training. The minimum period of time an employee will be authorized to receive the pay is one (1) shift.
