For Full. Time Probationary Members, and for Full-Time Tenured Members who were not Tenured as of June 28, 2000, any change in the proportions of the Teaching, Research and Service components under Alternative Workload arrangements for a Probationary or Tenured Member must continue to reflect active involvement in each of Teaching, Research and Service. Exceptions to this provision may occur by mutual agreement between a Member and the Employer.
For Full. Time Members at the rank of General Librarian or General Archivist the value of a Salary Point will be as follows: 2015-16 $991 2016-17 $1011 2017-18 $1031 2018-19 $1052
For Full. Time Members, a maximum of forty-five (45) full working days in any one Academic Year; and
For Full. Time Bargaining Unit Employees, all hours on active pay status in excess of the regularly scheduled work week, as set forth in Section 14.1 above, shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half the member’s regular rate of pay unless compensatory time pursuant to the following is elected:
a. Up to 240 hours of compensatory time may be accrued after which payment will be made for all hours worked. If any member wants to take compensatory time at time and one-half in lieu of overtime (time and one-half) payment, that choice must be clearly stated on the overtime card.
b. Compensatory time shall be granted in a way as not to impair the operation. An employee must take all compensatory time in excess of forty (40) hours by January 1st of the year following the year in which the time was earned. If the employee has not taken the time by that date, then he/she shall be paid for all hours not taken in excess of forty (40) ours in the next regular pay period. An employee may request payout of accumulated but unused compensatory time. The University will make a good faith attempt to pay the request within two pay periods from the request.
c. Payment for accrued compensatory time upon termination of employment will be calculated at an average regular rate of pay for the final three (3) years of employment, or the final regular rate received, whichever is the highest.
d. Compensatory time may only be taken for hours paid out of the police index (A10604). These hours would include shift overtime, court, mandatory training, holiday pay, etc. Any hours worked that are paid out of the special event account must be taken in pay. The parties agree to meet in Labor Management meetings to discuss ways in which overtime worked for special events may be taken as compensatory time.
For Full. Time Faculty: In each academic year during the duration of the Agreement, budget $535 per annually contracted full-time academic employee to a professional growth and travel fund that is administered within the division in accordance with applicable state regulations. Every annually contracted full-time academic employee, including those on sabbatical, shall have the first option to use the Professional Growth Funds budgeted for the employee. Beginning fall quarter 2017, each academic employee shall have the option of carrying forward all or part of the unspent $535 from the first year of the biennium for use in the second year of the biennium. Options not declared by the end of winter quarter in the second year of the biennium shall result in release of the funds for the use of other academic employees’ professional development.
For Full. Time Employees, the Employees will pay one-hundred percent (100%) of the premiums for the following group benefits:
(a) Short-term disability (weekly indemnity);
(b) Long-term disability.
For Full. 29.1 Where a Member’s Base Salary before the application of the PLCP adjustment is below one of the breakpoints identified above (for example, the breakpoints in 2014-15 are $109,734 and $133,534), but where the PLCP adjustment to the Base Salary raises a Member’s salary above a breakpoint, the Salary Points used shall be partitioned such that the Member’s salary will be increased to the breakpoint using the value of the Salary Points for the salary range below the breakpoint, and then increased further (to the limit of the Member’s BSP plus DSP) using the value of the Salary Points for the salary range above the breakpoint.§§
29.2 For Limited-Term Members at the rank of Lecturer the value of a Salary Point will be: 30. The Salary Point values and the number of Members in each Base Salary range shall establish the value of the PLCP fund, and the value of the BSP and DSP
For Full time Employees working a Night Shift, defined as any shift starting on or after 10 p.m., a Paid Holiday shall be considered as commencing at 10 p.m. of the day preceding the Paid Holiday and ending 10 p.m. on the Paid Holiday.
For Full. Time Employees, the Employer will pay one hundred percent (100%) of the premiums for the following benefits:

(d) Life insurance;
(e) Dependent life insurance;
(f) Accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
