Function Space Sample Clauses

Function Space. 10.1 Based on Group’s requirements, the Hotel has reserved function space as shown on the Schedule of Events attached as Exhibit B. The function space will be complimentary. Any changes to the room assignments as outlined in the Schedule of Events must be agreed to, in writing, by both the Group and the Hotel. Any additional space added after the date of this Agreement will be offered on a complimentary basis. The number of people listed is for room capacity planning only and does not represent a guarantee of the amount of food and beverage that will be ordered. 10.2 The Hotel shall not reassign contracted space unless approved in writing by the Group. 10.3 No other party shall be allowed to use the Group’s defined foyer function space as set forth in Exhibit B during a Meeting function. 10.4 The Hotel will provide to Group a registration area directly outside of the main meeting room consisting of no less than (3) 6’ x 30” tables with (4) chairs beginning one day prior to the first Meeting Date for set-up until four hours after the Meeting concludes. This registration area will not be shared with any other party for any period of time. This area should not be broken down and reset at any time during the Meeting Dates. This space should be able to accommodate power, telephone hook-up and internet access at published Hotel rates or lower negotiated rates. 10.5 There shall be no charge to the Group for the set-up of meeting rooms as directed by the Group. The Hotel shall provide, at no charge, certain equipment standard for the types of meetings and events scheduled, including the following: standing lecterns, easels, registration tables and chairs, water and glasses, pads and pencils, bulletin or message boards, and the house sound system. 10.6 The Hotel shall not charge for storing the Group’s meeting materials and publications for up to five (5) business days prior to the first day of the Meeting and up to two (2) business days after the conclusion of the Meeting. The Hotel’s staff shall assist in moving these materials to the registration area at no charge.
Function Space. Function space is assigned by the Venue according to the guaranteed minimum number of people anticipated. The Venue reserves the right to reassign appropriate space for the group’s function in the event the estimated number of attendees changes, or as otherwise deemed necessary by the Venue. Functions must be confined to contract designated areas.

Hotel agrees that any additional function spaces offered to the Group after the date of this Agreement will be given to the Group free of charge. The number of people listed in the Schedule of Event is for room capacity planning purposes only and does not represent a guarantee of the amount of food and beverage that will be ordered by the Group.
Function Space. 10.1 Based on Group’s requirements, the Hotel has reserved function space as shown on the attached meeting agenda. The function space at the Hotel as shown on the attached meeting agenda will be complimentary. Any changes to the room assignments as outlined in the attached meeting agenda (to the extent room assignments have been made in the attached meeting agenda) must be agreed to, in writing, by both the Group and DRD (the Group's agreement not to be unreasonably withheld). In the case of those functions (if any) referred to on the attached meeting agenda for which room assignments have not been made, the Hotel reserves the right (after consulting with and notifying the Group) to determine the specific function space to be assigned to the Group for those functions. In addition, notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Room Block is reduced by more than 20%, the Hotel may (after consulting with and notifying the Group) proportionately reduce the amount of function space reserved for the Group. The number of people listed for each function on the attached meeting agenda is for room capacity planning only and does not represent a guarantee of the amount of food and beverage that will be ordered. 10.2 There shall be no charge to the Group for standard set-ups (in accordance with Hotel policy) of the meeting rooms at the Hotel reserved for the Group pursuant to this Contract (provided the Hotel is afforded a reasonable period of time to complete such set-ups). The Hotel shall provide for those rooms, at no charge, the following equipment standard for the types of meetings and events scheduled (out of the Hotel's available inventory): standing lecterns (up to one per room), easels (up to one per room), registration tables and chairs, water and glasses, and pads and pencils. Standard set-ups currently include schoolroom, theatre, rounds and crescent rounds set-ups. 10.3 Hotel will provide complimentary receiving, storage and delivery for up to XXX pounds of meeting materials during the Conference (and for the up to three (3) days before and after the Conference) in accordance with Hotel policy as made known to the Group. 10.4 All contractors and subcontractors the Group wishes to hire for the purpose of providing entertainment or other services at the Xxxx Disney World® Resort ("WDW Resort") will be subject to DRD's reasonable written approval, subject to the following provisions hereof: At this time, the Hotel does not require that the Group use the Hotel's in-h...
Function Space. We reserve the right to reassign specific function rooms reserved for you. You agree to confirm specific room assignments with us prior to printing any invitations or other materials listing specific room locations.
Function Space. Due to the nature of our business, Carlsbad Seapointe Resort reserves the right to offer alternative function space as the needs of the business dictates. On the extremely rare occasion that such a change is necessary the owner will be notified immediately. In the unlikely event that the alternative space is not acceptable, the client reserves the right to cancel the function, and all prior payments will be returned.
Function Space. The following is a breakdown of your banquet and meeting requirements. If there are any revisions or additions to this program, please advise us as soon as possible, so that we may secure the appropriate function space. It is important to note that all meeting space and/or banquet rooms at the DoubleTree Minneapolis – University Area are non-smoking. Final guarantee of guests attending is due 72 business hours prior to the event.
Function SpaceBased on your requirements as you have indicated them to be, we have reserved the attached program of function space needs. (THE FOLLOWING SENTENCE IS OPTIONAL: Specific meeting rooms cannot be guaranteed and are subject to change.) A schedule of function space rental charges is attached to this contract as Schedule 1. Based on a sleeping room and food and beverage usage as indicated in this contract and the other anticipated revenues that Your Hotel Name Here will realize from this event, the function space for your program will be (Option 1) provided on a complimentary basis. (Option 2) provided at the rates indicated on the attached Schedule 2 (schedule should list only the function space necessary for their program, with attendant charges). Should these commitments not materialize, the following charges will be assessed for function space, in addition to any damages owed under the Performance Clause. Your Hotel Name Here understands the importance of your ability to use the function space held for your event without significant outside noise or other distractions. In the event such problems occur, Your Hotel Name Here upon notification by «BOOKNAME» will immediately take reasonable steps to prevent such noise or other distractions that are within the Your Hotel Name Here’s reasonable control from continuing. Xxxxxx understands that there may be persons or groups attending your convention who may wish to schedule additional meetings over your convention dates. These affiliated persons or entities will be expected to pay for use of function space requested at the Your Hotel Name Here's published rates. Function Space. It is our understanding that your meetings will be set as noted below. The Hotel will attempt to accommodate change requests. Specific meeting rooms are not guaranteed, and Hotel may substitute comparable space in its reasonable discretion.

Date Start Time End Time Function Room Setup Agr Room Rental To protect the safety and security of all Hotel guests and property, Group agrees that it will not use any items in the function space that create any amplified noise, smell, or visual effect other than decorations without advance notification and written approval by Hotel. Examples of items that require advance approval include, but are not limited to: smoke or fog machines, dry ice, confetti cannons, candles, incense, or any other activity that generates smells. Group will obtain any required Fire Xxxxxxxx or other safety approvals, and agrees to pay any expenses incurred by Hotel as a result of such activity, such as resetting smoke or fire alarms or unusual clean up costs.
