Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Work Day. An employee who is required to work on a designated holiday shall be compensated at two (2) times of her straight time pay. Regular full time employees shall also receive an additional day off in lieu of the holiday.

(a) An employee who works the majority of their shift on a designated holiday which is a scheduled work day shall be compensated at the rate of double-time in addition to their basic salary except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half in addition to their regular salary.

Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Work Day. In addition to Article 16.2, a regular employee who works on any of the above-noted holidays (except those noted in Article 16.4) shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1½x) for all hours worked.

An employee who works on a designated holiday, which is a scheduled workday, shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked on the designated holiday, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday if the majority of the employee's shift was worked on the designated holiday. When a holiday provided for in Article 14.1 is observed on a regular employee's scheduled work day and the employee works on that day, such employee shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half for hours worked and shall be entitled to another day off in lieu of the holiday provided for in Article 14.1. If the day is not taken within the same pay period, the day will be added to the employee's compensatory time off as provided in Article 13.6. Except Christmas and New Years which shall be double time plus a lieu day.
