Individual Grievance Procedure. In the first instance any grievance issue should be raised in writing with the immediate Transport / Traffic Manager and the Local Shop Xxxxxxx.

a. An attempt shall be made to resolve any complaint in an informal verbal discussion between the Employee and Supervisor.
Individual Grievance Procedure a) Should a Graduate Assistant allege that there has been a violation or improper application of the terms of this Collective Agreement, the Graduate Assistant should, in the first instance, seek clarification and resolution in consultation with the Course Instructor or Researcher within seven (7) business days of becoming aware of the event, incident, or conduct that gave rise to the allegation. The Course Instructor or Researcher has seven (7) business days to respond in writing.
b) If the matter is still not resolved, the Graduate Assistant may submit a grievance in writing to the Department Head or equivalent within seven (7) days of the conclusion of the previous step. The Department Head or equivalent must respond in writing within seven (7) business days of being informed of the grievance.
c) If the matter is still not resolved, the Graduate Assistant may submit a grievance to the Xxxx of the Faculty and the Xxxx of the Faculty of Graduate Studies within seven (7) days of the conclusion of the previous step. The Xxxx of the Faculty of Graduate Studies shall investigate and deliver a written grievance response to the Graduate Assistant within seven (7) business days of receipt of the grievance.
d) If the matter has not been resolved to the satisfaction of the Graduate Assistant, the GSA has the authority to refer the grievance to mediation or arbitration.
e) One or more of the steps of the grievance procedure may be bypassed by mutual agreement between the Board and the GSA. Deadlines can be extended by mutual agreement between the Board and the GSA.

Individual Grievance Procedure. If unresolved at the informal stage the employee should raise the grievance formally at the first stage. The first stage should be raised in writing either by the employee or the local shop xxxxxxx with the department manager (i.e. traffic manager) within 7 days of receiving the response from the informal stage. If the complaint is against the person with whom the grievance would normally be raised the employee can approach that person’s manager. The manager should fully investigate the grievance and respond in writing with the outcome within 7 days of receiving the Stage 1 grievance letter. If it is not feasible to respond within 7 days the Manager should notify the employee/and or local shop xxxxxxx of this and an anticipated date of response. If an employee is unhappy with the decision after Stage 1, the individual can appeal to the next stage.
Individual Grievance Procedure a. Step 1 (informal) - The grievance shall first be taken up with the first-line supervisor by the aggrieved employee and Union representative. If representation is not desired, the employee must so indicate. Prior to the meeting between the supervisor and the employee, it is the employee's responsibility to inform the Union. Matters not included in the Step 1 grievance shall not be addressed at a subsequent Step for the same grievance. The first- line supervisor shall meet with the employee and issue a verbal decision within five (5) workdays from the day notified of the grievance.
b. Step 2 (formal) - If the grievance is not resolved at Step 1, the grievance will be submitted in writing within five (5) workdays from the date of receipt of the verbal decision to the next supervisor who has resolution authority. This supervisor will meet with the first-line supervisor, the grievant, and the Union representative within five (5) workdays. If representation is not desired, the employee must so indicate. A written decision will be furnished to the grievant within five (5) workdays after the meeting.
c. Step 3 (formal) - If the grievance is not resolved at Step 2, the grievance shall be referred by the grievant to the Wing Commander (ANG) or Chief of Staff (ARNG) within five (5) workdays after receipt of the decision in Step 2. The Wing Commander or Chief of Staff shall meet with the grievant, the Union representative, and the supervisors concerned within five (5) workdays after receipt of the grievance. A written decision will be rendered within five (5) workdays after the meeting, and will be provided to the aggrieved employee and the representative.
d. Step 4 (formal) - If the grievance is not resolved at Step 3, the grievance shall be referred by the grievant to The Adjutant General (TAG) within fifteen (15) workdays of receipt of the Step 3 decision or after mediation. TAG will meet with the employee and the Union representative to discuss the grievance. TAG will review the grievance and will render a decision within fifteen (15) working days. The Employer's decision will be addressed to the grievant with copies to any cosigners and the Union's Chapter President.
e. Step 5 (formal) - If the grievance is not resolved at Step 4, the Union or the Employer may invoke binding arbitration, but must do so within thirty (30) days of receipt of the response to the Step 4 grievance or knowledge of the event necessitating arbitration. Individual Grievance Procedure. Transportation personnel shall have the right to appeal through administrative channels the application of policies and administrative decisions affecting his/her employment. With respect to any personal grievances, the individual shall be assured freedom from restraint, interference, coercion, discrimination or reprisal in presenting any appeal.
A. Transportation personnel who have a grievance shall discuss it first with the Transportation Coordinator in an attempt to resolve the matter informally at that level.
B. If, as a result of the discussion, the matter is not resolved to the satisfaction of the employee within five (5) school days, s/he shall set forth his/her complaint in writing to the Business Administrator. The Business Administrator shall communicate his/her decision to the employee in writing within three (3) school days of receipt of the written complaint.
C. The employee may appeal the Business Administrator’s decision to the Superintendent. This appeal to the Superintendent must be made in writing and must set forth the grounds upon which the grievance is based. The Superintendent shall request a report on the grievance from the Business Administrator and the Transportation Coordinator and shall confer with the concerned parties. The Superintendent shall attempt to resolve the matter as quickly as possible, but within a period not to exceed ten
Individual Grievance Procedure. Every indiv idual employee may raise a grievance regarding any aspect of their employment with management. This grievance should be resolved and co-operatively to the mutual satisfaction of all concerned. The resolution may involve discussions with other employees, union officials, management and any other people who can facilitate resolution. Where an individual grievance is not resolved in accordance with the process outlined above then the dispute procedure will be enacted.
