Insurance Advisory Committee. The insurance committee will serve as an advisory committee to the Superintendent. 17.3.1 The committee is to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employee insurance plans, review potential new plans, and communicate with employees regarding such plans. 17.3.2 The committee shall recommend to the Superintendent the selection of insurance coverage's, plans, carriers, and other matters of insurance coverage. 17.3.3 The insurance committee shall consist of two (2) persons appointed by the superintendent, two (2) teachers appointed by the association president, two (2) classified employees appointed by the classified association president, three (3) teachers elected by their peers, and three (3) classified employees elected by their peers.

Insurance Advisory Committee. 1. An insurance advisory committee shall be established composed of the Union President, two Union members appointed by the Union President, the Superintendent and two administrators appointed by the Superintendent, to review the present plan for the specific purpose of developing cost containment provisions designed to stabilize and/or reduce the cost of the insurance program, to be recommended to employees and the Board for approval. The committee may be convened by either the Superintendent or the President of the Union or his/her designee.
Insurance Advisory Committee. The Insurance Advisory Committee shall consist of three (3) representatives chosen by the Board and three (3) from the Association, and shall meet as necessary for the purposes of sharing information and concerns. Dates and times of the meetings are to be mutually agreed upon by the Superintendent and the ILEA President.

An insurance advisory committee shall be created consisting of equal representation of members appointed by the ECHO Board, the EEA and the ESP Associations, not to exceed a total of nine (9) members. B. This group will establish a regular meeting schedule and will be chaired by the member of the committee elected at the first committee meeting. C. This group shall annually examine benefit structure, dependent coverage, cost containment proposals and any other insurance issues to be considered for the ECHO Health Insurance Programs. The committee shall assist in controlling costs of medical, dental, and other insurance coverages. Other cost containment options will be examined during the course of this agreement as needed. Any and all recommendations of this committee shall be forwarded in writing to the Board and the Association for consideration for adoption. D. Any and all proposed changes in benefit plan structure or premiums shall be communicated in writing to all members of the Insurance Advisory Committee and the Association President.
Insurance Advisory Committee. An advisory insurance committee of District administrators and teachers selected by the REA (and at their option, members of the Board of Education) shall be established to consider options to reduce health insurance premiums and to provide input to interested parties regarding health insurance coverage and options. Such committee may be called to meet by the Superintendent, by the Board of Education, or by the REA. A minimum of two (2) teachers in the bargaining unit shall be present during any meeting of the committee. The advisory insurance committee shall make recommendations to the Board and the REA with respect to potential changes in insurance coverage and options.

The District Insurance Committee membership will consist of not less than three (3) members from each of the following employee groups: licensed, classified, administrative and confidential. Additional members will be selected by their respective groups at a ratio of one (1) representative per every 150 members who are covered by the District insurance plan. The Committee chairs' responsibilities will rotate among the representatives of the employee groups. The Insurance Committee will make a recommendation to the Board. If necessary, minority opinions will be included in that recommendation. 2. The Committee will meet at least once per quarter and then at any other time of their choosing to review operation of the Health Insurance Fund account. The Insurance Committee will set the calendar for the upcoming school year at their last quarterly meeting. 3. The District will provide the District Insurance Committee and the Association president a monthly accounting of the activity of the Health Insurance Fund account. The monthly report will include the total number of claims and the dollar amount, the total amount for prescriptions, the amount of the five (5) largest claims, the names of the ten (10) largest prescriptions filled and any other information the Committee deems necessary. 4. The District Insurance Committee will regularly review the fund balance of the Health Insurance Fund account and will recommend to the Board how to handle any surpluses or deficits in the fund. Each committee member will provide input on the committee. 5. Prior to changing the insurance program, the District shall allow the Insurance Committee an opportunity to review and compare benefits and costs and forward a recommendation to the Superintendent.
