Joint Accommodation Committee. 54.01 The Commission acknowledges that it has a duty to accommodate its employees. The Commission and the Union agree that accommodation is a multi-party obligation that requires the cooperation of the Commission, Union and employee.

All employees within the bargaining unit who were accommodated into permanent positions in the previous month. All employees within the bargaining unit currently requiring whether temporary/permanent placement. All employees within the bargaining unit currently off work, pending return to work. And quarterly: All employees within the bargaining unit absent from work in respect of WSIB benefits. All employees within the bargaining unit absent from work in receipt of LTD. All employees within the bargaining unit who have been absent from work for more than 23 months, excluding those identified above. The Employer agrees to offer every disabled worker, where available, employment upon the employee’s medical clearance to return to work, which shall continue as long as the disability lasts. The Employer agrees that a joint accommodation committee consisting of no more than six (6) members from each side, including the employee, will facilitate any long term and complex accommodation of disabled employees in accordance with the relevant return to work statutes e.g. WSIB.

Joint Accommodation Committee. 1 The parties agreed to establish a joint accommodation committee (the "Accommodation Committee"). The Accommodation Committee will be comprised of one (1) standing representative from each of the Employer and the Union. Either party may add other representatives from time to time. Representatives should be familiar with the collective agreement, and have experience in the area of return to work and accommodation. The Accommodation Committee will meet as regularly as necessary, and at the request of either party, to carry out its responsibilities. The Accommodation Committee's responsibilities will include: keeping a record of employees who do or may require accommodation; assessing medical information provided by employees to determine whether there is a need for accommodation; requesting additional information concerning the physical capabilities and limitations of employees where necessary, and specifying the nature of such information; arranging for accommodations in accordance with the Protocol Policy; communicating specific accommodation arrangements to all person who may be affected, including co-workers; keeping a record of employees accommodated because of disability, together with a summary of the arrangements; reviewing prior accommodation arrangements where there has been a change in circumstances; ensuring accommodation practices remain consistent with the law; and

  • JOINT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 5.01 A Joint Advisory Committee shall operate during the term of this agreement consisting of one (1) employee representative from each location and up to an equal number of employer representatives who shall meet at least once every six (6) months to discuss working conditions, economy of operation, quality and quantity of service, safety and health, workplace stress, violence and abuse prevention, and other matters to promote an ongoing harmonious relationship between the Employer and its employees. The Joint Advisory Committee shall meet at the request of either party. The full-time Union Representative may attend said meetings. All time spent attending Joint Advisory Committee meetings by employees shall be considered time worked but time spent at “pre-meetings” will not be considered time worked.

  • Consultative Committee 26.1 The parties agree to establish a consultative committee to assist the parties improve productivity, efficiency and to provide for the effective involvement of employees in decision making processes. The committee will consist of an equal number of company and elected employee representatives.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions.

  • Joint Consultative Committee 46.1 The parties recognise the need for effective communication to improve the business/operational performance and working environment in agencies.

  • Staffing Committee The Board and the teachers agree to the following:

  • Steering Committee The Project Manager shall set up a Steering Committee for the Project, consisting of representatives from the Department, the Contractor, and any other key organisations whom the project will impact on, to be agreed between the parties. The function of the Steering Committee shall be to review the scope and direction of the Project against its aims and objectives, monitor progress and efficiency, and assess, manage and review expected impact and use of the findings from the Project. The Committee shall meet at times and dates agreed by the parties, or in the absence of agreement, specified by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall report their views on the progress of the Project to the Steering Committee in writing if requested by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall attend all meetings of the Steering Committee unless otherwise agreed by the Department.

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements:
