Leaves of Absence Section A. Employees shall have the right to request a leave of absence without pay in accordance with the provisions of this Article after the successful completion of their probationary period or as otherwise provided in this Article.
Leaves of Absence Section A. A leave of absence without pay will be granted an employee when such leave will not impair the normal operations. Application for leaves of absence of less than one (1) week shall be made to the Department Manager. Applications for leaves of absence for longer periods of definite duration shall be made in writing to the Human Resources Manager. Any employee on a leave of absence who engages in other gainful employment, shall lose his/her status as an employee of the Company unless special permission is obtained in advance.
