Moving Days. A Flight Attendant who is moving her primary residence will be entitled to four consecutive days off (inclusive of scheduled days off) for a move of 700 miles or less, plus one additional day off for each 350 additional miles. These days off are to be taken in conjunction with the actual move. The Flight Attendant will be paid for the value of any Trip(s) missed. Moving days may not be requested during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. The Flight Attendant will coordinate scheduling of Days Off for moving with the Director of Inflight or her designee.

Moving Days. 1. A Flight Attendant eligible to moving expense reimbursement pursuant to this Section shall be granted one (1) day off for each four hundred (400) miles, or fraction thereof, by the most direct AAA mileage between domiciles, free from duty to accomplish the move to the new domicile. Such days off must be consecutive and will be counted towards the Flight Attendant’s minimum days off for the month. 2. Such Flight Attendant will provide the Company with a written request for specific moving days by the tenth (10th) of the month prior to the month in which she/he wishes to move. If the Company cannot accommodate the Flight Attendant’s requested moving days, alternate scheduled days off as reasonably near to the requested days as possible, considering the needs of the service, will be offered. The Flight Attendant’s moving days request may not include the first three (3) days of any bid month, the last three (3) days of any bid month, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or between December 24th and January 3rd. Moving days shall be posted as known absences in the Flight Attendant’s PBS schedule. 3. If the Flight Attendant was unable to request moving days prior to PBS closing due to circumstances beyond her/his control (i.e. the displacement occurred after the close of bidding) and the effective date of the displacement is such that the Flight Attendants needs to move that month, the Company and the Flight Attendant will mutually agree on moving days. 4. Once the Company grants the moving days, the Flight Attendant will not be rescheduled to work on those days. 5. The Flight Attendant’s minimum monthly guarantee will not be reduced as a result of moving days.
Moving Days. One (1) day leave of absence per year shall be granted with pay and no deduction from sick leave, to move to a new place of residence.
Moving Days. When the Company requires that a Flight Attendant move, the Flight Attendant will be given, upon written request at the time of the monthly schedule bid, four (4) consecutive (sequential, but not necessarily touching) work days off in conjunction with her/his move to the new domicile. . For moves exceeding one thousand (1000) miles from domicile, the Company will provide additional days of leave for every five-hundred (500) or part thereof, based on AAA mileage from previous domicile to the new domicile. (i.e. five (5) days of leave for one thousand five hundred (1,500) miles. Suchdays shall be in addition to a Reserve or lineholder’s regular days off. The Flight Attendant and Crew Scheduling will mutually designate which trips are dropped. If mutual agreement is unable to be reached, the decision will be made by the Inflight Department. Days off created by dropping trips for moving days will be in addition to any previously scheduled days off. Nothing herein will preclude the Company from granting additional moving days for extended moving distances. 1. If a Flight Attendant is not given moving days when the Flight Attendant has requested them (as reflected on the request submitted with the bid), the Flight Attendant will be considered on TDY status out of domicile commencing with the date requested and expenses in the Travel Expenses Section will apply until the beginning of the four day period. 2. The provisions of this paragraph will not change the minimum guarantee of the Flight Attendant with respect to any trips dropped for the purpose of the move. 3. If a Flight Attendant voluntarily transfers to another domicile, he/she shall be granted three (3) consecutive days off in conjunction with the move. Conflicting trips shall be dropped from the Flight Attendant's schedule without pay. However, the Flight Attendant's minimum monthly guarantee will be protected.
Moving Days. 1. A Flight Attendant who is eligible for moving expenses in accordance with Section 6.A. above may request, at the time of the monthly bid, up to five (5) consecutive days off for the purpose of driving to the new domicile and/or actually moving to the new domicile. Requests made prior to the bid closing for the affected month will be awarded in the final bid. Requests made after the bid closing for the affected month shall be mutually agreed upon by the Flight Attendant and the Company. Any pairings that are required to be dropped for this purpose shall be unpaid. The days in this Paragraph are in addition to the days provided for qualifying moves in accordance with Section 15.A.4. of this Agreement. 2. A Flight Attendant who is not eligible for moving expenses in accordance with this Section may be entitled to scheduled days off in accordance with Section 15.A.4.of this Agreement.

The timing and duration of the move shall be by reasonable, mutual agreement between the Company and its shipper, and the Pilot, utilizing days during the month the Pilot requests to move. If the Shipper cannot accommodate the Pilot’s request for moving days, or the shipping time of goods exceeds the travel days between locations by one (1) day, the Pilot will notify the Manager of Crew Planning before accepting. 1 day for packing 1 Buffer Day (5 days total) Should the Shipper proposal for moving goods be six (6) or more days, the Pilot should contact the Manager of Crew Planning prior to acceptance consistent with paragraph 3.b. c. If the Pilot elects to not accept alternatives for moving days in the month the Pilot requests them, the Company will then arrange for the Pilot to be free from duty the following month, at a mutually agreeable time. Once the Company grants the moving days, the Pilot cannot be rescheduled to work on those days. d. The minimum monthly guarantee will not be affected by the moving days. e. The Company will reimburse a Pilot, his spouse and children for meals and lodging for the time to travel to his new Domicile, and for any additional days (if necessary) following arrival at the new Domicile until such time as the household goods are delivered by the shipper. Should the shipping, travel time or unpacking of goods be delayed for any reason, causing the Pilot’s return to work to be delayed beyond the moving days projected, the Pilot will notify his Chief Pilot and the Manager of Crew Planning. If the Pilot is scheduled for duty on any of the additional days utilized by the shipper to deliver the household goods, the duty will be dropped without any loss of pay. f. Reimbursement for meals for each person will be the per diem specified in Section 5, except that children under ten (10) years of age will receive one-half (1/2) the per diem rate.   • Work Days The work day shall consist of an assigned shift within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours commencing at 12:01 a.m.

  • Leave Days 1. Each full-time teacher employed under regular contract shall be entitled to an annual allotment of thirteen (13) leave days. Such allotment shall be credited the first day of each school year and unused days shall be accumulated as sick leave to a total of one hundred eighty-two and one half (182.5) days. The teacher’s accumulated sick days may be used following use of 13 days and a doctor’s note with approval by Superintendent. Certificated staff with an accumulation of 182.5 days of accumulated sick leave shall be compensated at the end of each school year at the rate of the current daily certified substitute pay per each unused day above the 182.5 day accumulation. Such payments shall be made in July of each year. This money shall be placed in the teacher’s 403(b). If school corporation revenue in the Education Fund exceeds expenditures in the calendar year by an amount between $6,000 and $24,000, then the amount of that excess (minus compensation pay), not to exceed $18,000, shall be made available to fund a buyback of unused accumulated sick leave days on the following terms: Teachers shall have the option of selling up to ten (10) days, per round, of unused accumulated sick leave back to the school corporation at the daily rate of pay for a certified substitute teacher. This option will be offered to teachers in accordance with their seniority (total years of continuous service at Western Xxxxx) in the school corporation, with the teacher with the most seniority having priority to exercise the option, and it shall be available only to the extent of the total amount of money available as set forth above. Payment for these days shall be deposited in the individual teacher’s 403(b) plan, and upon payment those sick leave days shall no longer be available to the selling teacher. Said days must have been earned while the teacher has been employed in the school corporation. To participate in the program a teacher must maintain at all times a minimum balance of one hundred (100) days of accumulated sick leave. This method shall continue in successive rounds until the available money remaining less than daily rate of pay for a certified substitute teacher. If more money is available to the school corporation than is needed to fund the buy-backs exercised under this program, the school corporation may retain such money in its Education Fund. After selling a cumulative amount of eighty (80) days, teachers will receive a guaranteed buyback of any leave days over one hundred (100) remaining at the end of each school year. 2. A teacher employed under regular contract for only a portion of the school year shall be entitled to a proportional number of days (beginning the day they return to full-time status), and unused days shall be accumulative as specified herein. 3. Teachers shall be permitted to take one-half (1/2) day of paid leave which shall be recorded as one-half (1/2) day of paid leave. 4. Certificated staff may, in any academic year, utilize up to five (5) accumulated sick days for emergency family illness or injury (providing a written doctor’s note). The staff member must first use all 13 leave days and submit the request to the superintendent. These five days may be used for the medical emergency of only a spouse, children, mother, father, mother-in-law or father-in-law.

  • Snow Days ‌ If an employee, after good faith efforts, is unable to report to work for their scheduled duty period because of weather conditions, the employee may utilize paid time off.

  • Sick Days Employees will be provided with 6 sick days per calendar year. Sick days are paid at 75% of the employee’s step rate.

  • Scheduled Days Off Except in cases of emergency, no employee will be required to return to his/her place of employment on his/her scheduled day off.
