Moving Days. 1. A Flight Attendant eligible to moving expense reimbursement pursuant to this Section shall be granted one (1) day off for each four hundred (400) miles, or fraction thereof, by the most direct AAA mileage between domiciles, free from duty to accomplish the move to the new domicile. Such days off must be consecutive and will be counted towards the Flight Attendant’s minimum days off for the month.

Moving Days. A Flight Attendant who is moving her primary residence will be entitled to 4 consecutive days off (inclusive of scheduled days off) for a move of 700 miles or less, plus 1 additional day off for each 350 additional miles. These days off are to be taken in conjunction with the actual move. The Flight Attendant will be paid for the value of any trip(s) missed. Moving days may not be requested during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. The Flight Attendant will coordinate scheduling of days off for moving with the Director of Inflight.
Moving Days. One (1) day leave of absence per year shall be granted with pay and no deduction from sick leave, to move to a new place of residence.

A Flight Attendant who is eligible for moving expenses in accordance with Section 6.A. above may request, at the time of the monthly bid, up to five (5) consecutive days off for the purpose of driving to the new domicile and/or actually moving to the new domicile. Requests made prior to the bid closing for the affected month will be awarded in the final bid. Requests made after the bid closing for the affected month shall be mutually agreed upon by the Flight Attendant and the Company. Any pairings that are required to be dropped for this purpose shall be unpaid. The days in this Paragraph are in addition to the days provided for qualifying moves in accordance with Section 15.A.4. of this Agreement.
Moving Days. When the Company requires that a Flight Attendant move, the Flight Attendant will be given, upon written request at the time of the monthly schedule bid, up to five (5) consecutive days off in conjunction with the Flight Attendant's move to the new domicile. If a Flight Attendant requests five (5) days, she/he will be given the five (5) days. Such days shall be in addition to a Reserve or Build Up lineholder’s regular days off. The Inflight Department and the Flight Attendant will mutually designate the moving period. In the event that a trip or trips must be dropped, the Flight Attendant and Flight Support will mutually designate which trips are dropped. Any Flight Attendant whose trips are dropped pursuant to this section will receive priority for picking up trips in the 48 hour period (Section 7). This will include any touching trips that interface with the beginning or end of the moving period. Days off created by dropping trips for moving days will be in addition to any previously scheduled days off.

For moves exceeding one thousand (1000) miles from domicile, the Company will provide additional days of leave for every five-hundred (500) or part thereof, based on AAA mileage from previous domicile to the new domicile. (i.e. five (5) days of leave for one thousand five hundred (1,500) miles. Suchdays shall be in addition to a Reserve or lineholder’s regular days off. The Flight Attendant and Crew Scheduling will mutually designate which trips are dropped. If mutual agreement is unable to be reached, the decision will be made by the Inflight Department. Days off created by dropping trips for moving days will be in addition to any previously scheduled days off. Nothing herein will preclude the Company from granting additional moving days for extended moving distances. Example: A Flight Attendant has a two day trip which starts on the 11th. Then she/he has two days off. On the 15th, she/he has another two day trip. She may request, and with Crew Scheduler concurrence, given paid moving days on the 11th and 12th and on the 15th and 16th.
