Office and Clerical Employees. Overtime at time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of the daily or weekly hours specified in Schedule "B"; double time after eight (8) hours of overtime worked on a regular scheduled work day or double time after four (4) hours of overtime worked on the first day of consecutive scheduled days off. (b) Overtime at double time for all hours worked on Sunday, if not part of his/her scheduled work week, or if scheduled to work on Sunday, then for all hours worked on the second consecutive day during a period of scheduled days off, or for the second scheduled day off in any one calendar week, and save that no overtime shall be paid for a period of less than fifteen (15) minutes worked immediately following the completion of the regularly scheduled working hours on any one day. (c) Time and one-half (plus holiday pay) for all hours worked on the day a paid holiday is observed, if a regularly scheduled working day. (d) Double time (plus holiday pay) for all hours worked on the day a paid holiday is observed if not a regularly scheduled working day. (e) Instead of payment of overtime, an Employee may choose to receive time off in lieu at the appropriate overtime rate (i.e., one (1) hour at double time is equal to two (2) hours off). An employee may accumulate up to a maximum of ten (10) working days from November 1, 2004 (December 1, 2004 for outside employees) to August 31, 2005 and fifteen (15) working days in the following periods September 1st to August 31st to be taken, upon approval of the Employee’s Supervisor; requests for the time off are to be submitted on the appropriate forms as agreed to between the Union and the Employer at least seven (7) working days in advance. Commencing September 1, 2005 an employee’s first five (5) working days of equivalent overtime shall be taken off first prior to any payout of overtime. There shall be no carry-over into the following period. The application of this provision for all Employees shall be from September 1 to August 31. Office and Clerical Employees. The hours of work shall consist of thirty-five (35) hours per week, to be scheduled as follows: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday with a one-half (1/2) hour unpaid meal period.
Office and Clerical Employees. Time and one-half (1½) the employee's regular straight time rate of pay shall be paid for work beyond the normal seven (7) hours or average thirty-five (35) hours scheduled time, and for all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday. The regular workweek for all office employees shall be forty (40) hours consisting of five (5) consecutive days of eight (8) hours each, Monday to Friday, inclusive. Section 2. (b) Continuous service in the Revenue Security Finance Section. (c) Seniority does not carry over between sections. (d) Refer to Finance letter of agreement. Metro Transit will promote according to seniority within the group, classification, finance sections or department, qualified employees to fill vacancies. Notice of such vacancies shall be posted for a period of five (5) days, and copies of such notice shall be mailed to the ATU office. Section 4. The regular workweek for employees in the revenue security section shall consist of five (5) consecutive days of eight (8) hours and forty (40) hours per week. (a) Employees in the register reading/vault pulling positions will be afforded the opportunity to pick among available work locations on a semi-annual basis or more often if necessary. (b) Floaters in the revenue security section shall be notified of their days off one (1) week in advance. (c) Metro Transit shall provide one (1) suitable outer garment per employee for revenue security employees.

  • Casual Employees A casual employee is one who is not regularly scheduled to work other than during periods that such employee shall relieve a regular full-time or regular part-time employee. Casual employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to such benefits as are contained in the “Addendum - Casual Employees”.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2

  • Supervisory Employees ‌ For the purposes of this Article, the parties agree that Supervisory positions are those that are not excluded under Article 2.0 above and that satisfy the following criteria: a) Employees on Salary Schedule 01 who under Plan A "Nature of Supervision" have either Degree 3 (or higher) or its equivalent; b) Employees on Schedules 02 or 03 on condition they normally supervise other employees.

  • Newly Hired Employees All employees hired to an insurance eligible position must make their benefit elections by their initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section 5C. Insurance eligible employees will automatically be enrolled in basic life coverage. If employees eligible for a full Employer Contribution do not choose a health plan administrator and a primary care clinic by their initial effective date, and do not waive medical coverage, they will be enrolled in a Benefit Level Two clinic (or Level One, if available) that meets established access standards in the health plan with the largest number of Benefit Level One and Two clinics in the county of the employee’s residence at the beginning of the insurance year. If an employee does not choose a health plan administrator and primary care clinic by their initial effective date, but was previously covered as a dependent immediately prior to their initial effective date, they will be defaulted to the plan administrator and primary care clinic in which they were previously enrolled.

  • Fixed Term Employees The only terms of this Agreement that apply to employees who are not regular employees are those that are set out in Articles 31A, 32, 33 and 34. 31A.1 Articles 31A.2 to 31A.16 apply only to fixed-term employees other than seasonal, student and GO Temp employees.

  • Displaced Employees In the event of a reduction in the work force, regular employees shall be laid-off in reverse order of seniority, provided that there are available employees with greater seniority who are qualified and willing to do the work of the employees laid-off. An employee who is qualified and yet unwilling to do the work shall be laid-off.

  • Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked. The entitlement will be calculated on the annual leave anniversary date. Qualifying shifts are defined as a shift which involves at least 2 hours work performed outside the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm, excluding overtime.   • Other Employees Except as may be required in the performance of Employee’s duties hereunder, Employee shall not cause or induce, or attempt to cause or induce, any person now or hereafter employed by the Company or any of its affiliates to terminate such employment. This obligation shall remain in effect while Employee is employed by the Company and for a period of one (1) year thereafter.

  • Leased Employees Any Leased Employee treated as an Employee under Section 1.31 of the Plan, is: (Choose (h) or (i))

  • All Employees The Company shall not include the shift differential in any employee’s wage rate for the calculation of overtime.
