Out of Title Pay. Non-instructional paraprofessionals who work out of title (i.e., in a higher classification, such as an instructional posi- tion) for five (5) consecutive days or more, shall be paid out of title pay at the rate of the higher classification for all days worked in the higher classification. Whenever any other employee under this Agreement is assigned to perform the duties and responsibilities of a higher classification, he shall be paid the higher rate for such services from the first working day. Time spent performing such duties and responsibilities shall accrue in one (1) month intervals, and shall be applied to future promotions of such employee to a permanent position in the same job for purpos- es of step or experience level compensation.
Out of Title Pay. In the Patrol Division, when a Sergeant is delegated by the Chief of Police or his/her designee to fill the vacancy of a Patrol Lieutenant or a Police Captain, or if a Lieutenant is delegated by the Police Chief to fill the vacancy of a Patrol Captain, for at least four (4) hours, that Sergeant or Lieutenant shall be paid the base rate of pay for Patrol Captain or Patrol Lieutenant, or if the Sergeant's or Lieutenant's rate is higher than the base rate, then it shall be the next higher step in pay grade for Lieutenant or Captain retroactive to the first day.

Out of Title Pay. 1. Any employee who works in a title where a higher rate of pay is prescribed and who actually performs the functions and duties of the title, shall, commencing with the sixteenth (16th) day, be placed on the corresponding step of such higher title, retroactive to the first day.
2. Employees required to work out of title in a supervisory classification (Senior or Head Custodian) with a higher rate of pay, will receive the higher rate of pay when assigned by the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee.
Out of Title Pay. Any employee(s) directed to perform the duties of a higher paid job classification shall be paid the greater rate of pay for the duration of such assignment.
Out of Title Pay. An Employee is considered to work Out-Of-Title anytime said Employee is required to work in a position of a higher rank to ensure the efficient operation of the Fire Department. This usually occurs, but is not limited to, when an Employee of higher rank is either absent or required to work another assignment, creating a staffing vacancy. Out of title will be paid in accordance with Administrative Policy.
Out of Title Pay. An employee designated by his Department Head or authorized representative to work out-of-title shall receive for the duration of such out-of-title work, the rate of pay he would receive if regularly promoted to the title, provided, however, that out-of-title shall not be extended where such work is for a period of time less than one full day. Out-of-title pay is not intended for employees being trained for a higher job classification while being trained and supervised within a City-approved training program.
Out of Title Pay. The Employer shall provide Out-of-Title pay. Bargaining unit employees performing work in a position having a higher salary grade shall, during the time they are assigned to work in such position after ten (10) weeks, be paid at a rate equal to the minimum salary for the higher grade or an additional 5% of the employee’s salary added to their existing salary, whichever is higher.
Out of Title Pay. 6.1 When an employee is directed to perform substantial duties of a higher classification for a period of ten consecutive work days, said employee shall, commencing w ith the eleventh (11) consecutive work day, be paid at least the lowest rate currently paid in such classification, or at least one increment step in the higher classification above the employee's current rate, whichever is higher.
Out of Title Pay. Management may request or require an employee to work in a temporary assignment in a bargaining unit position that is at least one grade level higher than the position held by the employee. When such an assignment exceeds thirty (30) work days in duration, the employee shall receive a temporary allowance commensurate with the requirements of the position for the duration of the assignment.
