PERFORMANCE AND FLEXIBILITY. ‌ The Employees shall comply with any Company policies or procedures which are established from time to time. The Company and the Employees have a common interest in the electrical, electronic, communications contracting industry, therefore a stable working environment and harmonious relations are required to improve the relationship between the Company, the Employees and its customers. The mutual benefits (such as economic progress in the industry and prosperous employment relations) available to the Parties, demand mutual confidence between the Parties. The Parties to this Agreement will continually monitor its development and will review its success or, otherwise on its expiration.

(iv) varying working hours and rosters from time to time. (v) working at any work Site where the Company undertakes work upon reasonable notice; and (vi) complying with any Site specific policies, procedures, instructions or conditions that are provided by the Company’s Clients or statutory authorities. (c) All Employees shall comply with any Site rules, regulations and Company policies or procedures which are established from time to time to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective operations are achieved. This requirement includes observance of all Company and relevant Client policies and procedures. Notwithstanding this obligation, the Company’s policies and procedures do not form part of this Agreement, nor the terms and conditions of an Employee’s Contract of Employment, and are subject to review and/or amendment. (d) Employees must diligently and faithfully perform all the duties and responsibilities of the Employee's employment and such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Employer from time to time, as are within the Employee's skill, competence and training. (e) Employees must hold and retain permission to access the work Site and/or accommodation facilities. If permission to access worksites or use accommodation facilities is withdrawn for any reason, the contract of employment may be terminated. (f) Employees must hold and maintain all necessary qualifications, certificates, permits, licenses and the like to enable the Employee to fulfil the inherent requirements of the position. (b) The Company will require all employees to be flexible with respect to work practices and work patterns including: Acquiring knowledge and skills to operate the plant, equipment and processes proficiently. Undertaking work and duties as directed by the Company and consistent with (a) above. Working in a shift roster system as determined appropriate for the Works or Project. Working in any section of the operation. Working a reasonable amount of overtime where available. Where the employee is unavailable, they must notify the manager at the start of shift where practical. (c) Employees will comply with Company policies and procedures to ensure that safe, efficient and cost- effective operations are achieved.
PERFORMANCE AND FLEXIBILITY. 7.1 The planning, direction and control of the operations are the function of management, however Employees will have the opportunity to make contributions to decisions affecting themselves, their work and their working environment through the Communication Committee. 7.2 Operations and equipment levels shall be determined by the Company to meet demands and Employees shall operate all equipment for which they are licensed, as directed by the Company. 7.3 Employees are required to be available for and to carry out during the course of a shift, any function or mix of functions and operate any piece of equipment for which they are qualified in accordance with operational needs and the classification structure of this Collective Agreement. Employees are generally required to perform any task as reasonably directed by the Company 7.4 Employees will present themselves promptly without any delay at the shift start time and will promptly resume work at the conclusion of any tea or meal break. During a shift, Employees will attend without delay to any function for which they are qualified and licensed.

The Company will require Employees to be flexible with respect to work practices including: • Acquiring knowledge and skills to operate plant and equipment proficiently within their relevant skill stream. Working in a particular stream shall not apply to prevent employees from assisting across skill streams during crib and other breaks to ensure production continues throughout the shift. • Undertaking work and duties as reasonably directed by the Company; • Employees must undertake training that the employer reasonably requires. This may include training to maintain their classification or acquire new competencies. • All employees with a competency may be required to demonstrate and familiarise other employees on a day-to-day or as required basis in that competency. • Working in any area required to allow work to occur in the Roche Mining scope of works; • Working a reasonable amount of overtime as required. Employees will comply with any Company policies and procedures providing they are not harsh, unjust or unreasonable and that are not contrary to the provisions of this Agreement, to ensure that safe, efficient and cost-effective operations are achieved. If a company policy changes, consistent with this clause, the workforce will be consulted prior to any of these changes being implemented. Company policy and procedures will be freely available.
