Personal/Educational Leave. A personal leave of absence may be granted for personal or educational reasons, including the pursuit of study toward an educational degree. A personal leave may be granted for up to one (1) year.
Personal/Educational Leave. At the discretion of the District, an employee may be granted Personal Leave for education, Peace Corps, public health service duty, personal business or as an extension of paid vacation.
Personal/Educational Leave. A personal leave of absence may be 15 granted for personal or educational reasons, including the pursuit of study toward an 16 educational degree. A personal leave may be granted for up to one year. 18 11.5 Crime Victims Leave. Leaves from employment for victims of sexual 19 assault, domestic violence or stalking will be administered by the Medical Center 20 consistent with applicable federal and state laws, including the Oregon Victims of 21 Certain Crimes Leave Act (OVCCLA).
Personal/Educational Leave. A leave of absence for a period not to exceed one (1) year, without loss of seniority, may be granted an employee in order to attend a recognized College, University or Trade or Technical School full time provided the course of instruction is related to the employee’s employment opportunities with the Company. Before receiving the leave, or an extension thereof, the employee shall submit to the Company satisfactory evidence that the College, University or School has accepted him as a student and on the expiration of each semester or other school term shall submit proof of attendance during such term. Such leave may be extended for additional periods not to exceed one (1) year each. EDUCATION LEAVE The Company agrees to pay into a special fund one cent (1e) per hour, per for. the purpose of providing paid education leave and effective March two cents per hour, per employee. Paid educational leave will be for the purpose of upgrading the employee’s skills in all aspects of trade union functions. Such monies to be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established by the National Union, CAW. The Company has no responsibility or liability with respect to this program after payment of such monies on a quarterly basis to the Union’s Trust Fund. The Company further agrees that no more than two
