PERSONAL PAID TIME. Executive shall be entitled to Personal Paid Time (including, without limitation four (4) weeks paid vacation and holidays specified by the Company) in accordance with the policy applicable to Company employees and shall not be entitled to paid vacation or sick time other than Personal Paid Time. Personal Paid Time shall consist solely of a continuation of Executive's Base Salary, and Executive shall be entitled to no additional compensation during Personal Paid Time. Executive shall only be allowed to carry over into the next fiscal year ten (10) days of unused Personal Paid Time. All remaining unused Personal Paid Time will be cashed out.

PERSONAL PAID TIME. 12.01 Seniority employees shall accrue PPT up to a maximum of one hundred and sixty (160) hours. PPT will be accrued to the individual employee's account at the rate of 3.08 hours per pay period. The paid personal time entitlements will be based on biweekly accruals. PPT accrual records will be made available to employees upon request. 12.02 PPT accruals will begin to accrue on an employee’s date of hire. Thereafter, such accruals shall vest as accrued. PPT will be considered as time worked for the purpose of computing overtime. 12.03 Employees who are prevented from reporting for work by reason of sickness or injury shall notify their supervisor of same within one-half (1/2) hours of their scheduled shift start time giving the reason for the absence. PPT hours will not be paid in cases of unauthorized absence or tardiness or on an employee's regularly scheduled days off. Management approval will not be unreasonably withheld in the case of personal emergencies. 12.04 Requests for PPT for reasons other than sickness or injury must be requested for approval by the employee's supervisor at least one (1) day in advance. Such notice may be waived by the employee's supervisor. 12.05 The Company reserves the right to require employees to present a certificate from a licensed medical doctor to support time off of three (3) consecutive days or more due to illness or injury when notified by the Company prior to returning to work. 12.06 Employees who are terminated, laid off, retire or resign shall be paid for all unused personal paid time (PPT) up to a maximum of one hundred sixty (160) hours.
PERSONAL PAID TIME. 20.01 Paid Personel Time (PPT) will be accrued to the individual employee's account at the rate of .77 hours for each credited work week. PPT accrual records will be made available to employees upon request. Seniority employees may accrue PPT up to a maximum of forty (40) hours per year and bank up to a total of one hundred twenty (120) hours from one year to the next. 20.02 PPT will be considered as time worked for the purpose of computing overtime. 20.03 Employees who are prevented from reporting for work by reason of sickness or injury shall notify their supervisor of same within one-half (½) hours of their scheduled shift start time giving the reason for the absence. PPT hours will not be paid in cases of unauthorized absence or tardiness or on an employee's regularly scheduled days off. 20.04 Requests for PPT for reasons other than sickness or injury must be requested for approval by the employee's supervisor at least one (1) day in advance. Such notice may be waived by the employee's supervisor. 20.05 Unused PPT shall not have any monetary value upon termination of employment for any reason, EXCEPT that employees who voluntarily terminate employment after submitting a two (2) week advance written notice or have been placed on lay off for more than thirty-one (31) days are eligible to receive pay for all accrued unused Paid Personal Time.

  • Personal Time Off Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to executives.

  • Personal Time Employees shall be eligible to take accrued PTO time for personal reasons. Such time must be scheduled in advance in accordance with Employer policies and be approved by the employee's supervisor. Personal time PTO must be taken in at least one hour increments.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with Company’s policy in place from time to time; provided, however, that Executive shall be eligible to accrue no less than twenty (20) days per calendar year (with such amount prorated for the balance of 2017).

  • Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave 7.3.1 All full time employees shall be entitled to accrue paid personal / xxxxx's leave on the basis of 10 days per year (or pro-rata thereof for any period less than one year). Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata benefit. Paid personal / carer's leave is cumulative. 7.3.2 All accrued personal leave shall be available for use as carer's leave in accordance with the provisions outlined below. 7.3.3 As part of its commitment to provide a family-friendly workplace, the employer will allow employees to use any amount of accrued personal /xxxxx's leave to enable employees to: (a) provide primary care to partners, children and/or other household or family members. (b) attend the funerals of family or household members or close family relatives (if compassionate leave is not available in the circumstances). 7.3.4 The leave provided for in this clause will be granted subject to the following: (a) The employee must notify the employer of the reason and likely duration of the absence before 7.00 am on the first day of the absence, unless this is not possible due to an unexpected emergency in which case the employee must notify the employer as soon as practicable. (b) Where circumstances permit, an employee must endeavour to arrange leave to minimise the impact on operational needs. (c) The provision of appropriate documentary evidence. 1. For sick leave, a medical certificate or if not reasonably practicable to provide a medical certificate- a statutory declaration made by the employee. 2. For xxxxx's leave, a medical certificate in respect to the family or household member, or a statutory declaration by the employee. 3. For compassionate leave, any evidence that the employer reasonably requires. 7.3.5 The employee is not entitled to take more than 10 days of paid xxxxx’s leave (1/26th of the nominal hours worked by the employee) per year, regardless of the amount of personal leave the employee has accumulated over time. 7.3.6 An employee may request to cash out any amount of paid personal/xxxxx’s leave that they have accrued that is excess of 3/52 of the number of nominal hours worked over the past 12 months. For example, an employee working 38 hours per week over 12 months must retain 15 days of paid personal/carer’s leave and may cash out any further personal/carer’s leave that has been accumulated. 7.3.7 In addition to the above, a request to cash out personal/xxxxx’s leave will only be granted where: (a) the employee elects to cash out their leave in writing; and (b) the employer agrees. 7.3.8 Casual Employees engaged in continuous service shall be entitled to personal leave limited to the provision of sub clause 7.3.

  • Vacation and Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to vacation and paid time off in accordance with the standard policies of the Company for executives as in effect from time to time.

  • Personal Use I agree that the pupil will only use this device for educational purposes and not for personal use and will not loan the equipment to any other person.

  • Personal Vehicles A. Employees who are directed by the Employer to use a personal vehicle for official state business shall do so in accordance with state fleet policies established by the Department of Budget and Management. When circumstances make it impractical for an employee to obtain a state vehicle on the day the vehicle will be used, such employee may request the vehicle at the end of the prior day’s shift, and the appointing authority shall make reasonable accommodation, consistent with the efficient operation of the unit, to accommodate such request. If such request cannot be granted, the employee may use his/her own vehicle and be reimbursed at the full rate in accordance with state fleet policies.

  • Flex Time Upon agreement of the supervisor's immediate supervisor, an individual flex-time schedule may be established.

  • Crib Time (i) When an Employee is required to work overtime after the usual ceasing time for the day or shift for two hours or more, he/she shall be allowed to take, without deduction of pay, a crib time of twenty minutes in duration immediately after such ceasing time and thereafter, after each four hours of continuous work, he/she shall be allowed to take also, without deduction of pay, a crib time of 30 minutes in duration. (ii) In the event of an Employee remaining at work after the usual ceasing time without taking the crib time of twenty minutes and continuing at work for a period of two hours or more, he/she shall be regarded as having worked twenty minutes more than the time worked and be paid accordingly.

  • Show Up Time An employee who reports to work in the usual manner without having been notified that there is no work available and is sent home because of lack of work before having worked four (4) hours shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate. The employee shall also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable. Each employee must inform the Employer of a means of being contacted on short notice. If an attempt is made by the Employer at least two (2) hours before the employee’s shift commences by way of the contact information provided, in an effort to inform the employee of a lack of work, and the Employer is unable to do so, the employee will not be entitled to show up time.
