Piling Allowance. The Company will pay a piling / drilling allowance of $2.50 per hour for each hour worked. This allowance will be paid in lieu of all special rates and multi-storey allowance as prescribed in the Award. The piling allowance will be paid for hours worked on site only, excluding time in the yard and inclement weather off site. This allowance shall not attract any premium or penalty.

Piling Allowance. The Company will pay to its employees engaged in piling work on construction sites covered by this agreement a piling site allowance of $3.00 per hour worked on site from the date of signing. The piling site allowance increases to $4.75 per hour on projects in excess of $150 M total project value. In circumstances where the employee is engaged in the yard, the piling allowance payable will be $2.50 per hour. The piling site allowance will be paid in lieu of any special rates for dirty work, wet conditions, work at heights or in shafts or for any other disabilities on building sites. The piling site allowance is not payable during inclement weather. The piling site allowance will be paid as a flat amount and will not be taken into account in the calculation of overtime, annual leave, long service leave, sick leave or penalty rates of pay based on an hourly rate for time worked.

  • Travelling Allowance Where an employee is required to attend or conduct a clinic away from their base hospital, or attend to employer business away from their base hospital, the employer shall, wherever possible, pay all accommodation and travel costs (i.e. the employee shall not be required to pay for such expenses and get reimbursed at a later date). Employees shall be entitled, with prior approval, to claim any actual and reasonable expenses incurred.

  • Housing Allowance 48.01 Full time employees shall receive a housing allowance of five thousand four hundred dollars ($5,400) per year. Part-time employees will be paid the Housing Allowance prorated according to their hours of work. Casual employees will be paid a Housing Allowance according to their hours of work when they are replacing a full-time or a part-time employee.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. Upon providing the Employer in ample time- at least twenty four (24) hours before the date of the pay period ending, of proof of either purchase or repair, payment will be made on the pay period following.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.
