Placement of New Teachers on the Salary Schedule. New teachers who are hired with no previous experience for the school year will be placed on the salary schedule in Row 0 and in their appropriate degree column. New teachers who are hired with previous teaching experience will be placed in the appropriate column that matches their current degree/education and on the row number that matches their current years of experience as verified through Indiana’s TRF (INPRS). For initial placement purposes only, the row numbers will equate to years of teaching experience. The superintendent will have the flexibility to place a new hire up to two rows above or two rows below their experience level.

Placement of New Teachers on the Salary Schedule. For initial placement purposes only, each row will equate to years of teaching experience. Except for hard to fill positions (which is addressed below in this paragraph), new teachers who are hired with no previous experience during the term of this contract will be placed on the salary schedule in row A and in their appropriate degree column. Except for hard to fill positions (which is addressed below in this paragraph), any teacher newly employed with the Edinburgh Community School Corporation will be placed on the salary schedule according to recognized teaching experience mirroring the salary and placement of current employees with the same degree and number of years of experience. Effective with the 2019-2020 school year, the new minimum base salary for new hires will be $36,450 for Bachelors teachers and $37,950 for Masters teachers. With respect to hard to fill positions, the Superintendent will have the discretion to place the teacher up to two (2) steps higher or lower on the salary schedule than where the teacher would ordinarily be placed on the salary schedule.
Placement of New Teachers on the Salary Schedule. New teachers who are hired with no previous experience for the 2019-2020 school year will be placed on the 2019-2020 salary schedule in row A and in their appropriate degree attainment column. New teachers who are hired with previous teaching experience shall be placed in the appropriate column that matches their current degree/education and a row at the discretion of the Superintendent bound by the following stipulations: 0 to 5 years of experience can be placed in rows A-C, 6 to 15 years of experience in rows D-I, and 16 or greater years of experience in any row starting with J. With respect to new teachers, the Superintendent and School Board may offer a one-time sign on bonus for hard to fill positions up to a maximum of $3,000.00 per new teacher. The Superintendent will discuss and obtain meaningful input from the Association President prior to offering a one-time sign on incentive to any new teacher. After receiving the Association President’s meaningful input, the Superintendent and the School Board may in their sole discretion offer the one-time sign on incentive to the new teacher. Teachers that receive a one-time sign on incentive will reimburse North West Xxxxxxxxx School Corporation the full amount of the one-time sign on incentive if the teacher is no longer employed by North West Xxxxxxxxx School Corporation before a period of three years of employment has passed. The superintendent has the flexibility to place a teacher within ten rows in their appropriate degree column from where the teacher would ordinarily be placed based upon the teacher’s initial placement. The superintendent will discuss this with the association president but sole discretion to offer this movement rests with the superintendent and the School Board. The Superintendent may offer up to four rows, on the base salary, to someone who has served in the military. One year of service equals one row up to four years of military service and four rows.

The New Hire Placement Salary Schedule for the 2022-2023 school year is in Appendix B-2. Except for hard to fill positions (which is addressed below in this paragraph), new teachers who are hired during the term of this contract will be placed on the applicable New Hire Placement Salary Schedule at a salary that mirrors the salary of a current employee with the same degree and years of experience. Teachers newly hired to the School Corporation during the 2021-2022 school year prior to ratification of this contract will have their starting base salary adjusted upward by $2,500. With respect to hard to fill positions, the Superintendent will have the discretion to place the teacher up to four steps higher on the salary schedule than where the teacher would ordinarily be placed on the salary schedule.
Placement of New Teachers on the Salary Schedule. New teachers hired by Xxxxxxxx County Schools will be placed on the 2020-2021 new hire placement schedule in Appendix 3-B as follows. For purposes of entering salary placement only, the row letters in the new hire placement schedule in Appendix 3-B will be treated as the new hire’s years of teaching experience in public schools. (Row A equates to 0 years of experience, Row B equates to 1 year of experience, Row C equates to 2 years of experience, etc.) A new teacher’s years of experience in a non- public school(s) may be credited for purposes of salary schedule placement if approved by the Superintendent. A new teacher will be placed in the appropriate row and degree column that reflects the teacher’s years of experience and education, subject to the experience cap set forth below. New hire salary placement experience cap: A new hire will not be credited with more than 15 years of experience unless the Superintendent and Association President mutually agree otherwise.
Placement of New Teachers on the Salary Schedule. All teachers hired after July l, 1987, as a permanent employee of the Winchester Board of Education shall be placed on the salary schedule up to their maximum years of experience and degrees. In implementing this provision, the Superintendent shall have a measure of flexibility to affect some savings. However, in no case shall a newly hired teacher be placed lower than two (2) steps below their maximum years of experience. The Superintendent shall inform the Association of all such hires and placements on the salary schedule.

  • Terms and Conditions Pertaining to Individual Account Service Title Title to Firm Full-Requirements Power Supply will transfer from Competitive Supplier to Participating Customers at the Point of Sale. In accordance with the Distribution Utility's Terms and Conditions for Competitive Suppliers, the Competitive Supplier will be responsible for any and all losses incurred on the local network transmission systems and distribution systems, as determined by the Distribution Utility. Billing and Payment Unless otherwise specified in an Exhibit to this ESA, all billing under this ESA shall be based on the meter readings of each Participating Customer's meter(s) performed by the Distribution Utility. Competitive Supplier shall cause the Distribution Utility to prepare and mail bills to Participating Customers monthly. The Competitive Supplier shall adopt the billing and payment terms offered by the Distribution Utility to its Eligible Customers on Default Service. If actual meter date is unavailable, the Competitive Supplier may cause the Distribution Utility to xxxx based on its good faith estimates of usage. Any overcharge or under-charge will be accounted for in the next billing period for which actual meter data is available. Regional and Local Transmission The prices quoted in Exhibit A do not include current and future charges for distribution service costs collected by the Distribution Utility under its distribution service tariff or local transmission costs as may be imposed by NYISO or individual electric utilities that have FERC transmission tariffs. The Competitive Supplier understands that these costs will be collected by the Distribution Utility. If, in the future, Competitive Supplier becomes responsible for such distribution or transmission costs, Competitive Supplier shall be entitled to collect such costs from Participating Customers to the extent permitted by any Governmental Rules. These costs are "pass through" costs as determined by the appropriate regulatory agencies.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.

  • Description of Goods or Services and Additional Terms and Conditions The Contractor shall perform as set forth in Exhibit A. For purposes of this Contract, to perform and the performance in Exhibit A is referred to as “Perform” and the “Performance.”

  • Salary Schedule Advancement The base salaries in each cluster within a step may be increased through COLA, turnover savings, increments, and additional educational attainment.   • Christmas/New Year’s Scheduling K-1 Employees will receive at least five (5) consecutive days off at Christmas or New Year's. The Hospital will provide time off from the completion of the night shift the day before the holiday that the Employee is granted (either Christmas Day or New Year's Day). Christmas will include Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day and New Year's will include New Year's Eve Day and New Year's Day. Where an Employee requests not to be scheduled off five (5) consecutive days at Christmas or New Year’s, such an Employee is to put her/his request in writing to the Clinical Manager.
