POSTING OF AVAILABLE POSITIONS. The assignment and reassignment of teachers is the responsibility of the Superintendent of Schools. The assignment and reassignment will be made in accordance with the needs of the schools as determined by the Superintendent. The decision of the Superintendent shall be final. The administration will publish a listing of all vacancies for the succeeding school year as soon as they are aware (notified in writing) of said vacancies. The listing will be updated as vacancies occur during the school year.

POSTING OF AVAILABLE POSITIONS. 11.1 When the District intends to fill any vacancy in a position covered by this agreement, the District shall post in a conspicuous place in each school building a notice which briefly describes the position available, the date of posting and where to apply for the same. A copy of such notice shall be sent to the Association. Such position shall not be filled until five calendar days (exclusive of Saturday and Sunday) after the date the position was posted, provided always that in the case of an emergency a temporary appointee may be made at any time. All paraprofessionals shall be given opportunity to make application for such position.
POSTING OF AVAILABLE POSITIONS. ‌ The posting of available positions within IBEW, including the rate of pay and qualifications, will be posted on the department bulletin boards for a period of five days to allow IBEW-represented employees the opportunity to apply for these jobs, prior to hiring an individual from outside the City employ.
POSTING OF AVAILABLE POSITIONS. When practical, instructional assistant positions will be posted within ten (10) days of availability. Staff interested in posted, available positions shall apply in writing to the Human Resources Department. Positions will be posted as defined above for five (5) calendar days. Individuals interested in another assignment shall indicate such in their written application and subsequent assignments will be made from the original posting. Assignment of an individual to a posted or other position will be at the sole option of the supervisor. Staffing of a vacancy may not result in the posting of subsequent vacancies created by staffing of the initial position.

  • VACANCIES, TERM POSITIONS AND NEW POSITIONS 3001 Subject to section 3002 herein, the Employer agrees to post notices of vacant, term or new positions covered under this Agreement for at least seven (7) days to enable nurses presently in the employ of the Employer to apply for same. Such posting shall not preclude the Employer from advertising outside the site premises. All postings shall state minimum qualifications required, the equivalent to full-time (E.F.T.) and date of closing of the competition.   • Posting of Vacant Positions Positions that are not filled through placement of employees from the layoff list or internal transfer list will be posted for a period of at least seven (7) calendar days, during which time, internal and external applicants may apply. The posting will include, at a minimum, a description of the work to be performed, the requirements of the position, the rate of pay and the shift.

  • Notice of Changed Positions In the event that the Employer introduces significant changes to an existing job such that the job description is substantially altered, the Employer shall give written notice to the Union outlining the changes which have taken place, along with the Employer's proposal for a change in the wage rate, if any. Should the Union object to the proposed wage rate, such objection to the wage rate must be made in writing, within thirty (30) days of notification by the Employer. If no written objection is received by the Employer, then the wage rate shall be considered as agreed to. If the wage rate proposed by the Employer for the changed job is revised as a result of negotiation or arbitration, then the revised wage rate shall be effective from the date on which the changes were implemented.

  • Posting of Positions Notice of any opening for a promotional position shall be posted in all schools and departments by the Division of Human Resources & Equity.

  • New Positions A. Each newly created position shall be assigned by the Employer to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position within thirty (30) days after its creation. Before such assignment of each new position the Employer shall consult with the Union for the purpose of assigning the new position to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position.   • VACANCIES AND NEW POSITIONS 17.01 The Gallery shall post notice of permanent and temporary job vacancies subject to Article 4 – Temporary Full-Time Employees for a period of seven (7) calendar days before any such job is filled. Probationary employees shall not be entitled to apply for posted vacancies. It is agreed that the Gallery will not interview external applicants until applications from existing employees have been reviewed and bargaining unit employees who are qualified in the opinion of the Gallery have been interviewed. Further, the Gallery will notify existing applicants in writing once the successful application is selected.

  • Direct Trunked Transport 7.3.2.1 Either Party may elect to purchase direct trunked transport from the other Party.

  • VACANCIES AND JOB POSTINGS 17.01 When a job vacancy or vacancies occur within the bargaining unit and the Employer intends to fill the vacancy, the Employer will post an announcement of such vacancy or vacancies on all Union bulletin boards. Said postings shall remain posted for a period of five (5) working days. The announcement shall contain the job title of the vacancy, a brief job description and the rate of pay, and the date of the posting and bid deadline date.
