Preliminary Opinion of Probable Construction Cost. The Consultant shall prepare a preliminary Opinion of Probable Construction Cost for the Project TASK 9FINAL DESIGN Based upon approved preliminary design, field exam, and public informational meeting, the Consultant subsequently proceed with final design, contract drawings, specifications and opinion of probable construction cost for the award of a single Contract for the construction of the proposed improvements. TranSystems will provide a legal description in a Word document format and a tract map in PDF format for each property. The tract map will be signed and sealed by a professional land survey duly registered in the state of Missouri. City staff will acquire the water main easement. 301. Prepare right-of way plans and submit to City. TASK SERIES 400 – FINAL PLANS 400. Prepare Final Construction Drawings. Design Professional shall prepare final construction drawings for the proposed water main, which include final and interim connection details, dimensions, schedules, and diagrams for all design disciplines.
Preliminary Opinion of Probable Construction Cost. This project’s funding will be from remaining bond funds of the District’s $9.2 million bond election approved by the voters on May 9, 2015. The District submitted a Bond Application to the TCEQ on October 25, 2021 with a construction budget for this project of $500,000. The District received approval and authorization to sell bonds from the TCEQ for this project on December 28, 2021. The District is aware that the actual construction cost may vary based on market conditions at the actual time of project advertisement. The District and HDR will review and update the project’s OPCC throughout the design of the Project.

  • Opinion of Probable Cost Any opinions of probable Project cost or probable construction cost provided by Engineer are made on the basis of information available to Engineer and on the basis of Engineer’s experience and qualifications and represents its judgment as an experienced and qualified professional engineer. However, since Engineer has no control over the cost of labor, materials, equipment or services furnished by others, or over the contractor(s’) methods of determining prices, or over competitive bidding or market conditions, Engineer does not guarantee that proposals, bids or actual Project or construction cost will not vary from opinions of probable cost Engineer prepares.

  • Suspension of unsafe Construction Works (i) Upon recommendation of the Authority’s Engineer to this effect, the Authority may by notice require the Contractor to suspend forthwith the whole or any part of the Works if, in the reasonable opinion of the Authority’s Engineer, such work threatens the safety of the Users and pedestrians. (ii) The Contractor shall, pursuant to the notice under Clause 11.17 (i), suspend the Works or any part thereof for such time and in such manner as may be specified by the Authority and thereupon carry out remedial measures to secure the safety of suspended works, the Users and pedestrians. The Contractor may by notice require the Authority’s Engineer to inspect such remedial measures forthwith and make a report to the Authority recommending whether or not the suspension hereunder may be revoked. Upon receiving the recommendations of the Authority’s Engineer, the Authority shall either revoke such suspension or instruct the Contractor to carry out such other and further remedial measures as may be necessary in the reasonable opinion of the Authority, and the procedure set forth in this Clause 11.17 shall be repeated until the suspension hereunder is revoked. (iii) Subject to the provisions of Clause 21.6, all reasonable costs incurred for maintaining and protecting the Works or part thereof during the period of suspension (the “Preservation Costs”), shall be borne by the Contractor; provided that if the suspension has occurred as a result of any breach of this Agreement by the Authority, the Preservation Costs shall be borne by the Authority. (iv) If suspension of Works is for reasons not attributable to the Contractor, the Authority’s Engineer shall determine any Time Extension to which the Contractor is reasonably entitled.

  • Construction of Project 11.1.1 Developer agrees to cause the Project to be developed, constructed, and installed in accordance with the terms hereof and the Construction Provisions set forth in Exhibit D, including those things reasonably inferred from the Contract Documents as being within the scope of the Project and necessary to produce the stated result even though no mention is made in the Contract Documents.

  • Early Construction of Base Case Facilities Developer may request Connecting Transmission Owner to construct, and Connecting Transmission Owner shall construct, subject to a binding cost allocation agreement reached in accordance with Attachment S to the ISO OATT, including Section 25.8.7 thereof, using Reasonable Efforts to accommodate Developer’s In-Service Date, all or any portion of any System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades required for Developer to be interconnected to the New York State Transmission System which are included in the Base Case of the Class Year Study for the Developer, and which also are required to be constructed for another Developer, but where such construction is not scheduled to be completed in time to achieve Developer’s In-Service Date.

  • Project Construction The Contractor agrees to provide continuous on-site supervision on each Job Order, while progress on the project is being accomplished. In the event the Contractor fails to provide a daily log and/or construction progress log, the County may impose damages against the Contractor in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each log and deduct from the Contractor’s payment request, for each day the Contractor does not provide the documentation. 6. County may suspend Contractor operations if no Contractor Superintendent is observed. All delays caused by the suspension will be the responsibility of the Contractor. No time extension or claims for cost(s) associated with the suspension will be granted by the County.
