Termination may also result from a combination of documented circumstances in which the RA has failed to meet expectations. • Once an RA is on probation, if further discipline is required, it may result in termination and not an extended probation period. There will be no extension of probation and no layering of different types of probation. • The Office of Residence Life reserves the right to dismiss an RA from all job responsibilities at any point that the job requirements are not met. Compensation will cease at the point of termination and room scholarships will be prorated at the time of dismissal. • RAs cannot continue in their position if they are found responsible for violations of the University code of conduct or academic honor code and/or are placed on institutional probation or suspension. • This agreement is unable to cover all aspects of the RA position and will not be the definitive decision maker in RA employment decisions and expectations.
