Redundancy Entitlement. Redundancy Entitlement. The Company will contribute $60.00 per week per Employee into the Australian Construction Industry Redundancy Trust (ACIRT). This contribution will increase to $68.00 from 1 January 2007. Once an Employee has accrued 8 weeks pay in their ACIRT account they may elect to have their redundancy contribution paid into Cbus.
Redundancy Entitlement. There shall be no forced redundancies for the life of this agreement. Should a Council offer a redundancy package for consideration by an employee or group of employees, such package shall comprise a minimum of: • 1 weeks notice of termination per completed year of service to a maximum of 4 weeks or payment (total average weekly wage) in lieu thereof and • 1 weeks of total average weekly wage as severance payment for each completed year of service with the Council to a maximum of 12 weeks. • For employees over 45 years of age an additional 4 weeks severance pay The total amount of notice of termination or payment in lieu and severance payment should not exceed 20 weeks.
Redundancy Entitlement. Unused RDO’s, other than the six (6) banked, shall be paid out by 31 December of each calendar year. The rate of pay for crane crew/s temporarily performing general maintenance work in the yard shall be the CW3 NT classification rate of pay in Appendix B of this Agreement. Where Employee/s perform the duties of a Tower Crane Crew in the yard they shall be paid the rates of pay and conditions of the CW7 classification in this Agreement.
Redundancy Entitlement. Redundancy Entitlement. (Severance Pay)
34.3.1 Where the employer has identified an employee for redundancy as a result of modernization of plant equipment:
i) An employee who has completed less than five years of service with the company at the time the redundancy is to take place, will receive severance payments as per the following: • Less than 1 Year Nil • 1 Year but not more that 2 years 4 weeks • More than 2 years but not more than 3 years 6 weeks • More than 3 years but not more than 4 years 7 weeks • More than 4 years but not more than 5 years 8 weeks
ii) An employee who has completed five years or more of service with the company at the time the redundancy is to take place, will receive severance payment. The employee shall receive two weeks for every completed year of service. Such an amount will be calculated on completed years of service only and pro-rata payments will not be made for partially completed years. For example: An employee who has been employed for 7 ½ years at the time of the redundancy will receive the Award provision for the first five years of service and then receive 4 weeks for the additional 2 years of service. The half year period is not included in the calculation.
Redundancy Entitlement. If an Employee is made redundant the Company will pay the difference between the Employees redundancy entitlement under the Mobile Crane Hiring Award 2020 and what has been paid by the Company into ACIRT (including any amounts that have been elected to be paid into CBUS by the Employee). Any new weekly hire Employee shall be entitled to the weekly contribution paid to ACIRT. This contribution will be paid pro-rata Monday to Friday being not applicable for unauthorised / unpaid leave. Employees engaged part-time will have their contribution to ACIRT paid pro-rata. The Company will contribute $3.00 per week per Employee to the Construction Industry Drug and Alcohol Foundation (CIDAF). This amount is to be forwarded to CIDAF in accordance with the provisions of clause 11.10 of this Agreement. This will apply to all Employees of the Company. In lieu of the MCHA meal allowance provision for overtime $30.60 shall be payable. This allowance will also be in lieu of the first 20 minutes crib payable for overtime Monday to Friday found in the MCHA. This meal allowance is payable where an Employee is required to work 1.5 hours or more overtime after working ordinary hours including any unpaid meal break. This amount shall replace the amount prescribed by the MCHA and shall remain in force without variation for the duration of the Agreement.
Redundancy Entitlement. 28.5.1 Redundancies will apply to full time and part time Employees only. A ‘Fixed term employee’ engaged on either a full time or part time basis shall not be entitled to any form of retrenchment or redundancy payment.
