Requests and Approvals. All requests for an extension of the probationary period must be made in writing no later than October 15 of the review year (see Timetable in 17.§10 for specific date). In cases relating to parental care for a child, written requests require the approval of the faculty member’s chair and xxxx. In all other cases, approval by the chair, xxxx, and the xxxxxxx is required.

In the event that the Buyer requests the Seller in writing to incorporate a proposed change (excluding Development Changes) in an Aircraft and the Seller agrees to such request and incorporates such change, but the change is not subsequently made the subject of an SCN for any reason (other than the Seller's unreasonable refusal to sign the SCN or otherwise acting in bad faith), the Buyer will pay to the Seller the actual direct cost of design and other work resulting from such request and incurred by the Seller ***. In the event that the Buyer requests the Seller in writing to proceed with a proposed change before any requisite approval of DGAC and FAA has been obtained and subsequently such DGAC or FAA approval is not obtained, any SCN which will have been executed in connection with such proposed change will be deemed canceled. ***
Requests and Approvals. The employer will maintain a process by which members can discuss PGT needs and opportunities with their supervisor and request approval for specific PGT activities. Work-related meetings are not subject to the PGT pre-approval process. Nothing in this article, however, creates an obligation on the part of the employer to approve PGT requests for any given member during any given time frame. Administrative decisions to not approve PGT requests are not grievable under the contract.
Requests and Approvals. 3.3.1 In the event that Northwest requests a change to the Specification, AVSA will issue a Request for Change (RFC) and carry out a feasibility study of such change. If AVSA determines that such RFC is feasible to incorporate, AVSA will produce an SCN and submit such SCN to Northwest for Northwest's approval. If such SCN is rejected by Northwest, such RFC and proposed SCN will be canceled without charge to Northwest.
3.3.2 In the event that Northwest requests AVSA in writing to incorporate a proposed change (excluding Development Changes) in an Aircraft and AVSA agrees to such request but the change is not subsequently made the subject of an SCN for any reason (other than AVSA's unreasonable refusal to sign the SCN or otherwise acting in bad faith), Northwest will pay AVSA the full cost of design and other work resulting from such request and incurred by AVSA, provided that in the event AVSA's reasonable estimate of the cost of developing such proposed change is higher than US$ ***, AVSA shall have notified Northwest in writing within *** Working Days after AVSA's receipt of Northwest's request of such cost estimate and secured Northwest's agreement prior to incurring any such costs. In the event that Northwest requests AVSA in writing to proceed with a proposed change before any requisite approval of the LBA and FAA has been obtained and such LBA or FAA approval is not subsequently obtained, any SCN executed in connection with such proposed change will be ***.
Requests and Approvals. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, any right Lender has under this Agreement or the Related Documents to request, approve, accept, determine, decide, reserve rights, or make any judgment on any matter shall be in Lender's sole discretion. However, Lender shall exercise any such right and administer the Loan in good faith and in a commercially reasonable manner, using commercially reasonable judgment. Lender shall not unreasonably condition, delay, or withhold any required approval, consent, determination, decision, reservation, or judgment.

When the need for LWOP is foreseeable, an employee must request leave on a Leave Request under the provisions of this Article at least 30 days in advance to allow the supervisor time to prepare for any staffing adjustments necessary to compensate for the employee's anticipated absence. However, the parties recognize that due to the unpredictable nature of these situations, adjustments in the requested leave may be necessary.
2. No arbitrary date requiring a pregnant employee to cease work or to prevent her from returning to work after childbirth will be established. Decisions in such cases will be made by the Employer, in accordance with applicable policies and regulations, after considering the employee's request and any required medical certification.
3. Requests for time off beyond 12 weeks will be considered on an individual basis, and may be approved in accordance with applicable policies, regulations, and this Agreement. The Employer must make a reasonable effort to approve such requests consistent with budgetary considerations, workload, and staffing requirements.

In the event that the Buyer requests the Seller in writing to proceed with a proposed change before any requisite approval of the relevant Airworthiness Authority has been obtained and subsequently such Airworthiness Authority approval is not obtained, any SCN which will have been executed in connection with such proposed change will be deemed cancelled.
Requests and Approvals. Requests for approval to attend continuing education sessions and for schedule changes to cause such attendance to coincide with scheduled work hours are to be submitted through the employee’s supervisor to the Senior Area Medical Director for review and recommendation to the installation head. These requests must be made in writing as far in ad- xxxxx as possible, but not less than thirty (30) days before the date of the program. The installation head shall act on the request as expeditiously as possible, and shall, to the extent possible, advise the employee of the approval or denial of the request in writing no later than fourteen (14) days after the date on which the request was received. The Senior Area Medical Director reserves the right to provide or prescribe continuing education hours (CEHs) courses.
Requests and Approvals. When the need for leave is foreseeable, an employee shall request family and medical leave in the WebTA timekeeping system, or any future timekeeping system that may be prescribed for use by USDA under the provisions of this Section at least 30 days in advance to allow the supervisor time to prepare for any staffing adjustments necessary to compensate for the employee’s anticipated absence. However, the Parties recognize that circumstances beyond the employee’s control may arise and adjustments in the requested leave may be necessary.
