Safety Allowance Clause Samples
A Safety Allowance clause establishes a designated budget or contingency fund within a contract to cover unforeseen safety-related expenses that may arise during a project. This clause typically specifies the amount set aside, the types of safety issues it applies to—such as additional protective equipment or emergency measures—and the process for accessing and documenting the use of these funds. Its core function is to ensure that adequate resources are available to address unexpected safety needs promptly, thereby minimizing project delays and enhancing overall workplace safety.
