Section Protective Clothing. Any employee physically handling fresh or frozen fish and fish entrails, meats, hides, creosoted items, ink, acids and ore concentrates in substantial quantities shall be provided with rubber or leather aprons, coveralls, smocks and gloves, as appropriate; also to drivers who pump off asphalt, or bulk cement. Coveralls shall be maintained by the Company. Bulk petroleum product drivers shall be provided with adequate gloves and after the initial issue, on an exchange basis. Any employee who is exposed to a hazard by reason of handling toxic or noxious chemicals shall be provided with adequate protective clothing and equipment as required by Workers' Compensation Board regulations and the cost shall be borne by the Company. Maintenance shop employees shall be provided with clean coveralls and the cost and maintenance shall be borne by the Company. The Company shall supply at their expense to Maintenance Shop employees good quality boots and after the initial issue, on an annual exchange basis if required. Where the Company makes it a condition of employment for all employees to wear boots, the Company will supply same. A wage differential of fifty (50) cents per hour shall be received by every employee required to physically handle green hide, fresh fish and fish entrails in truck load lots. Hourly rated employees shall be notified before quitting time the day previous to their not being required for duty, except as otherwise mutually agreed by the Parties hereto. Time shall be posted and remain posted until a.m. the following day. If an employee, after starting work, meets with an accident which incapacitates him from carrying on his duties, he shall be paid his full day's wages for the day of his injury, provided he is not in receipt of compensation from the Workers' Compensation Board for that day.

A maximum of two sets of work clothing and 2 shirts per year shall be issued without charge to all regular employees. A lump sum of will be paid by February 1 on an annual basis to all regular employees not issued rubber boots as their regular footwear. Employees who are not already provided with coveralls as part of their normal clothing issue and who are assigned to a complete regular annual line overhaul(s) will be provided with 1 pair of coveralls or uniform. Such coveralls and uniforms shall be returned to the Company at the completion of the overhaul(s). The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to select a reasonable number of Shop Stewards to assist employees in presenting complaints or grievances to the Company. There shall be one Shop Xxxxxxx in each of the following departments: Brew House and Maintenance. Two Shop Stewards shall be in the Bottle Shop, one of whom shall normally work in the Shipping and Receiving Section. There shall be et least one additional alternate Xxxxxxx in each of the said departments. The alternate Xxxxxxx shall act in the absence of the regular Xxxxxxx with respect to any grievance arising in his department. The Union shall appoint a Shop Committee of not more than four employees from the Bargaining Unit or three employees from the Bargaining Unit plus one Executive member of the Union. For the purpose of the grievance procedure, department heads in the various departments shall be as follows:

Section Protective Clothing. The Union w i l l advise the Board of locations where they believe protective clothing is required. Subject to Board concurrence, such clothing will be provided. Section Bulletin Board The Board agrees that the Union shall have the right to maintain a bulletin board in a convenient location in all schools under the jurisdiction of the Board providing that the use of such shall be restricted to the posting of notices regarding the business affairs, meetings, social events and reports of the Union.
