While you are on a participant on the Camp America programme you are entitled to make claims in respect of the following: Medical Expenses up to $500,000 (per accident or sickness) and Emergency Dental up to $500. Medical Expenses up to $100,000 (per accident or sickness for all participants age 40+) and Emergency Dental up to $500 Accidental death or dismemberment up to $6,000 Medical Evacuation up to 100% of covered charges Trip Interruption benefit up to $1,000 Trip Cancellation benefit up to $2,000 Loss or theft of Personal Effects up to $2,000 (optional extra) Coverage for Pre-Existing conditions up to $2,500 (optional extra) Significant Exclusions There are some situations that you are not covered for. These situations generally involve anything you already know about, or situations that arise as a result of deliberate or illegal acts on your part. Please refer to the master policy, Exclusions and Limitations. If you cease to be a programme participant, you will no longer be entitled to cover. Certain programmes involve minimum and maximum age ranges (for instance, 18-40, 40-59, 60+) please check which programme in which you intend to participate. You will not be covered for claims arising due to any pre-existing medical condition that has manifested itself within 3 months before the commencement of the policy, including prescription drugs or other medical supplies, or is a congenital condition, unless you declare your situation to us and we have accepted to cover it in writing. You will also not be covered for or able to claim in respect of: - The first $50 of any claim; - The first $250 of any claim arising from a covered sickness being treated in an Emergency Room. This deductible will be waived if you are admitted to the hospital to further treat the sickness. - Any claim where there has been unreasonable delay in notifying the insurer more than 20 days after the occurrence giving rise to the claim, or any claim where there has been unreasonable delay in providing written details about the claim more than 90 days after the occurrence giving rise to the claim; or - Claims which give rise to legal proceedings more than three years after written details were provided. Medical or other expenses which: - are not reasonable and customary or relate to transplants - relate to mental and nervous disorders, or addiction, or treatment therefore - are incurred for experimental, unapproved or elective surgery or treatments - relate to routine dental, ophthalm...

The Healthcare Liability Package Policy is underwritten on a ‘claims made and notified basis’ to provide coverage for damages or defence costs arising in respect of Healthcare liability and Professional liability. The policy is extended to include cover for costs relating to Abuse Defence, Court Attendance, Fraud/Dishonesty Defence, Public Relations and Lost Documents. Sub-limits apply to the aforementioned extensions. A ‘claims made and notified’ basis means that the policy will only respond to a claim first made during the policy period, and notified during the policy period. In short, for a claim to be covered Your policy must have been in place at the time the allegation was made against You, and when the claim is lodged. SIGNIFICANT LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS Significant and unusual exclusions or limitations include: • Abuse Abuse means the actual or threatened sexual abuse, sexual molestation, sexual assault, sexual victimisation, physical abuse, physical assault, verbal abuse, bullying, any resulting mental or emotional injury, or any coercion to engage in sexual or abusive activities. • Territorial and jurisdictional limits Liability arising in connection with any legal proceedings (including any criminal proceedings, inquest or inquiry) commenced, and from or in connection with any activities, outside of Bermuda. • Contractual Liability Liability arising from any oral or written contract or agreement, does not apply to the extent You would have been liable in the absence of such contract or agreement. • Prior acts/knowledge Liability arising from claims and circumstances which are known, and acts, errors and omissions which have taken place, and incidents, wrongful acts, injuries, claims and circumstances notified, prior to inception.
